Looks amazing, I'm looking forward to the new season. I think the only obvious improvement they could make is when you were sat at 150mph the water wasn't really moving off of the windscreen as it should IRL. If the can get that to act according to speed it would be epic.
Good to see that this will give you further options to play as neither of the console games have delivered the games that were promised, PC gaming seems to be going from strength to strength atm hopefully see you trying out the new Le Mans game too.
I'm glad you're enjoying it mate because I haven't been able to play the game since the update and I know that Plenty of others are having the same issues maybe you guys can talk about that and find out what iRacing is doing about it because they haven't answered my email

OK Rory, riddle me this. Why use this view on Iracing and ACC, but not when you're racing in Gran Turismo or Forza?
Ive been wondering the same, almost everyone on UA-cam that plays both groups of games does the same.
I’m a GT player that does bumper cam and never tried iRacing, but I _think_ this is the only view the game has? However that’s certainly not the case for ACC.
The Gran Turismo cockpit view adjustment options are extremely limited compared to those others
@@justindd6830 I’m not arguing sims vs arcades here, but ACC supports multiple views, even behind-the-car ones. It also has a hood cam and even a bumper cam.

I racing does look great just too expensive
Once you learn how to run the wet line and learn how to be extremely patient, iRacing in the rain is, by far, the best experience in sim racing history!
Graphically iracing is a bit of a dog, but i've had the most consistent racing in the last 6 months with it. This rain update elevated the entire experience. I can understand why it took so long to get it right, but boy did they.

Rain is impressive but they need to fix their dry physics. RaceRoom and AC have much better tire physics and car control. The new Formula car is terrible as with many other in the dry.

These days in real life they wouldnt allow racing with that ammount of rain ,as racing has been nambypambyified
Just not interested in constant wreck fests,No going to say the rains not good or right but it will always be a wreck fest.
It rains 168 days a year in the UK. Thats why rain is a big deal to be good in... We drive it irl every other day
I think because it's all in fairly extreme conditions. The light rain is very "raceable"
This looks really good but I do think if it's that bad the race would be called off. I'm tinkering about the idea of trying iracing but need to get myself a wheel 1st.
