Just saw your interview on KTLA 5 morning news with Victoria Justice promoting Piano Diaries. It was nice to see that Angelina got a little bit of tv time when they showed a short clip of Bad Valentine. Excited that you will be with her at the Alex Theater for her concert. Cannot wait for the official release of Bad Valentine on the same day as the concert. Friday, September 20th is a big day for her and we Angels are very excited. When you're mentored by the most improvisational jazz singer of all time (Billie Holiday) and you have the ability to not only absorb all of Billie's inventive, musical elements but physically able to apply them in your own personal style of musicality, as Angelina has been able to do in a career that has already surpassed 10 years with her only being 18 now, is incredible.

I've been thinking, and it seems to me that part of why Toby Gadd is so taken with Angelina is that he has a particular style of song writing and sorts of meanings and feelings he is trying to express, and Angelina's particular singing style is a perfect match for it. That in turn makes me think they are going to have a long and very fruitful partnership.
Actually from what we have read and heard, Toby helps the artist express their feelings, not necessarily his own. He has said that he’s never written for an artist.
