Iconic now...Toy from the 80s 😁 It was Wayne smiths friend...Noel Davey that made/found the riddim on de casio keyboard...the keyboard was given to him by the member Garthie of the wailing souls...Then them tek it to jammy$...then jammy$ slowed down the tempo...jammy$ played the percusson , and the drum snyth clap clap pop on it..his own words... As we have reed But was Sleng Teng all inspired by a British glam rocker? and as new employee at a company that made calculators and watches...The MT was born and the preset drum beat and bass-line patterns was pre-programmed into the Casio MT40...the preset was programmed in the machine by employie Hiroko Okudo from whom just graduwaited from Tokyo College...She didnt puplicity revel who she based it on...but doing research and many years lata she sed she was inpirsed by the song Hang on to yourself by David bowie...that riff in his tune But ive been digging more into it , the riff much the same..spot on that riff is Sleng Teng man Ramones - I Don't Wanna Go Down to the Basement...Interesting!!!🎶
