When you remove the black plug you solderd the wires to. Do you need to have access from the outside? In the other videos they removed the wipers to get access from the other side.

Thank yous, no you'll need to turn on the cruise control in the ECU.

I have a golf iv TDI from 2001, it's the 25th anniversary version, so it's one of the most basic, is this compatible? Thanks

yes all mk4's from tdi 90 to 150 will work, even the mk3 tdi 90 or 110 had the wiring for curse, you will need to use Vagcom to change the setting in the ECU

It's getting closer to the spec I'm happy with. Just need to find parking sensors, heated washers and head light washers.

I guess it is on mk2's and mk3's as North American cars had cruise on cable cars. I'm don't know but maybe the early mk4 1.8T was cable, so I'm guessing those would have had cruise in North America.

The mk3 cruise is really easy, the wiring is all there by the fusebox on the 90 & 110 TDI, plug n play.

Tenho um 1M ... 6 velocidades TDI 130cv e o que mais adoro e rolar ( quem tem um VW sabe do que falo ) nele ... Bem confortável fumaça no ar Ottis Reading no rádio,nada melhor... Só faltava mesmo o Cruise Control e uma DSG!!! Esse era o meu sonho uma DSG... Adoro mesmo 😍
