@@iamanimy it can be understood with analogy to earth rotating around sun, as solar system revolves around the galactic centre, the dynamics if solar system arent changed and so is the division into 12 of 27 parts as in the video, PS : treat solar system as single unit when taking centre of galaxy as reference

I have been trying to understand Vedic astrology by visiting a number of websites but I never got such a lucid explanation anywhere. Most of the sites are verbose. But these videos are excellent. Animation along with narration makes it very easy to understand. One request, can you please arrange the videos in a sequence that a student should follow to learn systematically ?. I have been learning on my own with the help of books and videos. This is by far the easiest explanation I have heard in years! Please do more video on similar topics as I have a very hard time retaining information ( brain damage due to seizures) however this video and how you show images helped more then anything this far. Thank you! I totally follow the Vedic astrology. I've discovered I am Aquarius after 40 years and it completely resonated, I never considered myself Pisces. I tell people - look what is in the sky right here, right now, but don't apply to yourself what was 2000 years ago! The mainstream media follow the tropical zodiac and this is bad. When you are a kid you usually discover the wrong zodiac reading a newspaper one day and you can live with this for too long, applying wrong horoscopes and other readings. Vedic astrology changes everything, from a self-analysis, to finding the best love match. Many astrologers don't even want to hear that they can be wrong if they keep following the tropical zodiac, while it's enough to look at the night sky and there's the truth. We are cosmic beings, starseeds some, not bound to Earth.

It is not about one zodiac or the other (sidereal/tropical). The only thing wrong is assuming astrology is a science, when in fact it is only a tool of Divinity. In actual fact both systems are 'true' because they both reflect the reality of orientations between the earth, sun and stars.

I believe in what I see in the sky above me right here, right now, the Sun is in Taurus, not Gemini today. The system which is outdated should be abandoned for practical, accuracy reasons but obviously can exist in the books just because it was created thousands of years ago.
I relate more to western zodiac signs like sun, moon, ascendant especially ascendant regarding my characteristics so now I follow that system. Before that our family used to follow Vedic astrology but I couldn’t relate to those signs .

This is so enlightening to me. I was working on associations between the tarot cards and astrology the other day and I got so confused when they associated the Aces with the seasons because they're based on the seasons from the perspective of the northern hemisphere, and they don't align with my experience from the southern hemisphere. So I decided to temporarily associate them with the cardinal signs and quadrants of the birth chart wheel as I do further studies. That was the first loophole I found with the tropical system. This video is another loophole that's pulling me away from the tropical system.
I think the sidereal zodiac is not directly connected to the Vishnunabi but to some other fixed stars. Around 449 AD, we were in dark age and exact knowledge of Hindu astrology including precession was lost, so with time, sidereal charts are no longer accurate
I have been searching youtube for animations to understand various concepts in astrology specially those that are very challenging to understand with mere text or even static diagrams. Towards the end of this video you have preferred to take Mula Nakshatra as the fixed star for sidereal zodiac which forms the basis of Chandrahari Ayanamsa. This is not completely correct. The reference point for sidereal zodiac changes based on the Ayanamsa you are using. For example, the opposite of Chitra Nakshatra is the starting point for sidereal zodiac as per Chitrapaksha (Lahiri) Ayanamsa, whereas Pushya Nakshatra is taken as the fixed star for Pushya Paksha Ayanamsa and so on. This is known as the Aynamsa controversy in astrology.

Once I calculated my vedic chart, more and more things in my life began to make sense . My tropical chart was NOT as accurate or even comes close to the accuracy. My sun and moon signs are different in Vedic and it makes more sense to me on a much deeper level. I will never go back to Western astrology
This person can also very well make videos with ability to transport you to a different dimension. Just see how he zooms out and out and still the only thing we see is the spatial vastness of the cosmos. Sometimes when I lay on my back on green grass with nothing but the sky in my vision, I get exactly same feeling as that provided by certain frames in the video. This Cosmos never fails to delight me.

I certainly agree with Vedic astrology… it makes perfect sense. However, “American / Western astrology” comes from the “Roman Catholic creed” due to colonization via Doctrine of Discovery; so “Western astrology is actually Rome’s astrology. But again… I agree with Vedic, and good video.

But the video explain clearly is importance of the constellations in astronomy in Star gazing and how to be able to pinpoint various planets via simple astrometry ; But first basic Star gazing Astronomers must be able to know and recognized the various constellations of the zodiacs ( and othes ) night sky ! But practically the easier constellations recognized without much problem is : The Sagittarius constellation . The Scorpion constellation . The Libra constellation. constellation . Taurus constellation and in the Alignment of 2 Stars in the Orion constellation ! Gemini constellation with the stars Polux & Hector

Isn’t Vedic cosmology based on the earth being flat, with the stars spinning around Polaris the polestar that hangs above the center and is also where the connection to higher realms is located?

As a British (Pagan), man, I have (over the years), had a few different readings from Astrologers using the Tropical zodiac Western system. All of those readings, I would regard as useless and of little help to me. Naturally, this led me to asking questions about the accuracy of Western Astrology, and since those readings I have grappled with which system I should concentrate on studying. My understanding is the two system is two perspectives to look at one’s quality. Sun’s perspective and milky way’s perspective, both shows some essence of the individual at a certain level. Just like if you want to know a individual, you ask the family and you ask the social relationships, both perspective will give you some info, some may overlap and some might contradict, but if you ask which is true, I think both is true, it depends on in whose eyes this person was seen.

Thank you very much for a fantastic and brilliant video. ... I have just recently begun to try studying Astrology. As a British (Pagan), man, I have (over the years), had a few different readings from Astrologers using the Tropical zodiac Western system. All of those readings, I would regard as useless and of little help to me. Naturally, this led me to asking questions about the accuracy of Western Astrology, and since those readings I have grappled with which system I should concentrate on studying. Your video presentation here, is exactly the type of astrological education by video, that I would very much like to see more of. Once again, thank you very much.

My understanding is the two system is two perspectives to look at one’s quality. Sun’s perspective and milky way’s perspective, both shows some essence of the individual at a certain level. Just like if you want to know a individual, you ask the family and you ask the social relationships, both perspective will give you some info, some may overlap and some might contradict, but if you ask which is true, I think both is true, it depends on in whose eyes this person was seen.
