Thank you! This is huge news. Thank you for making this! I found Sonderflor through your resources and OMG their fabrics are amazing! They just had a sale and I finally got something I wanted for forever. So worth it! It's amazing how much better sustainable fabrics are. The quality, the craftsmanship, and plants' fibers are so amazing! Thank you for all the work you do! It's such a big deal!

Thank you for sharing this. So sad to see the fast fashion industry still doesn't care even remotely enough. I will stay with secondhand options as much as i can until the industry changes to true sustainability and circular economy.

This is upsetting news, I really appreciate all the context you provided and some ideas for moving forward as individual consumers

So frustrating 😞 but fully agree, it just should not be allowed that unsustainable materials are sold cheaper. Massive taxes need to be put on any new materials and serious tax breaks and incentives provided for recycling. How is this so hard!!

Thank you for this super important video. I absolutely agree with you that there should be general ethical rules in production. So much is passed on to the individual.... I already make conscious fashion decisions, but I feel like I'm tilting at windmills. Some things (like the senseless cutting down of forests) should simply be banned. Unfortunately, this happens despite my conscious fashion choices. As individuals, we do have an impact, but it's so much smaller than the decision of a (fashion) company.

Interesting! I am not a fan of viscose because of all the chemicals used in it as it is though. I hope that people will make a priority of breaking down the old for the new instead of just putting things in landfills though soon. It is sad when there are companies out there hoping to make a change and have high hopes for helping people and the environment and it falls through.

If those coglomorate like lvmh or kering really or sincerely care about sustainable, they would've buy it or make a company like this similar to their Nona Source.. but no, all they do is yapping at useless event and their greenwashing bs.

This is so frustrating. Fast fashion just never stops being evil.
I recently entered a Zara because I needed to pee and they had a bathroom inside. Used their bathroom and walked back out without even stopping a second to browse. Felt like I’d really stuck it to the Man lol.
