Holy smokes, amazing editing style with all the cuts, effects, transitions, scenes, music choose etc. and been extremely short 6min. Great job and overall a magnificent tribute to the legendary Exige!
hey! Thank you so much for the kind words, we're really happy to hear you've enjoyed the video! And we're glad that you were able to pick up on all the details. This took so much time to edit, it is very appreciated!😄
Fantastic video and review! The Exige will always have a place in my heart. It had just come out when I started cancer treatment. I remember riding past the Lotus building on the way and seeing it for the first time. The final version looks incredible. I love how you can see the gearbox linkage and the little bits that you both focused on. You always do an incredible job at your reviews and this was amazing!!!
That is quite an emotional memory😢 but thank you for watching our video and leaving such a nice comment as always! Glad you liked seeing all of the details of the Exige! We really love the exposed gearbox too, it's really hard to clean but we 're a little sad they didn't keep it in the Emira.
I bought one! Daily drive it and have taken it to the track. Amazingly fast and actually easy to drive because it tells you what’s it doing. Torn every day whether to just drive it or to keep it just to look it. Driving it wins 😜
Nice!! Congrats on getting an Exige! We're not jealous at all🤣 Love that you daily drive it and that you have already given it some track experience! Driving it wins for sure😎 have fun with your Exige!
I love this video, a lot of cool unique shots there. I drive a Lotus too in Tokyo, an Elise, and though I'm pretty excited how Emira drives, I think we owners should really take a good care of the ones we have right now. A raw driving experience like this probably are the one of the last we can ever drive.
Thank you so much for your comment! We're really glad you enjoyed watching our video of the Exige. It's so cool that you drive an Elise, it is such a fun car to drive, both in the city and on the driving roads of Japan! You said it perfectly, the Emira is going to be exciting in its own way, but it is very important to cherish the current Lotus models. These cars are truly marking the end of an era!
Total professionals at what you both do. I feel your Lotus videos are on such another level. It sucks me in like crazy. Totally relate to the entire video somehow. Saved as another favorite and watched 3xs over and over... you guys create such addicting content it’s like a drug. Its like watching a flawless ice skater do perfect spins and tricks wonderfully watching in awe the videos are just that stunning. Makes me proud to be a Lotus owner and die hard enthusiast of these vehicles… maybe that’s why I go crazy over anything Lotus because of how you two see the vision on every scale. Off topic: On my birthday my brother bought me a Lotus jacket hehe and my sister bought me a funny t-shirt “how to get in & out of a Lotus” lol. I can honestly say, how I found your channel the first time. I randomly typed in Lotus in UA-cam and poof magically stumbled upon a black & gold Lotus thumbnail. I clicked it and never regretted watching after that saved and clicked the 👍🏽 . To this date that Lotus content I found of that black jewel you both filmed painted an imagine in my mind. Funny how my cars are black haha and subscribed instantly. I’m telling you I can totally relate. I am in awe just absolutely speechless with goosebumps watching all the content not just the Lotus stuff. This final edition is So raw, so pure, and a perfectly created example of what a you both have done here you guys visually capture and exemplify what you do so passionately it is such an honor to even watch every second of this content here those 6 minutes I’m sure took hours maybe even days. I fall in love with both of you guys and the channel as it always reminds me when I first watched the Black and Gold Lotus you both reviewed did I mention that again haha! The nature and style of your filming some how keeps me coming back for more. It’s addicting to say the least. I’m still shocked and still get excited the same way as if it’s the first time. Please keep it up, this content is killer and so is this machine. I was waiting for some instructions on how to get in and out easily haha just kidding. You should make a funny video of that. Lol. Also, Flat bottom steering wheels are sexy! The digital combination meter/gauge reminds me of the Aim gauge. The exposed shifter and right hand drive I want it! That entire vehicle is just so sexy in every way. I even watched it in slow mo in some sections. You both have an amazing volume of videos down to the behind the scenes vids, q&a, and filming/editing. Thanks so much for delivering time and time again. It’s like watching episodes of Top Gear ⚙️. P.S. I’m so happy you two included the Emira. I’m dying to see you two review that car as that is my next goal in life to own as my next Lotus. Something about the body styling gets me. I don’t necessarily need to race it but just want to enjoy the driving experience as I’m getting older. I feel the Elise and Exige are raw race/track/street cars. But I want an Emira so bad it’s styling is next level for me and seems like the easier answer of what a refined daily Lotus exotic would be in today’s push to a modern electronic age vehicle. Praying 🤲 it meets and exceeds reliability in the electronics department. And it doesn’t go in limp mode shuts down, crash the network when some sensor flips out. I fix cars for a living and electrical failures can be a massive burden. Nonetheless, I’m so for the last gas 6 speed gear box Emira V6 Toyota motor but subjective to the infotainment yet overall it’s up high on my list of cars to own. It will probably be my last toy to purchase to complete my Lotus collection in my lifetime just because I’m not getting any younger haha. Dreaming of a Dark green, yellow caliper, tan interior option. Praying it meets and fills the big shoes like Claire says of past Lotus predecessors❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Xoxo! You two make a great team keep up the great work to say the least. Love you both, be healthy, Stay safe, God bless, and Thank you always for making my days worthwhile time for bed!
Hey!!👋 We were looking forward to reading your comment, and we're so happy that you stopped by our channel to watch our latest video of the Exige Final Edition! As always, thank you so much for not only taking the time to watch it, but also for leaving such a thoughtful comment on our video. It really means a lot to us. This video took quite a bit of time and energy to make so we're just so glad you enjoyed it that much! Yes! We remember you had commented a while back that you were a Lotus owner! Lucky you! Now that the Exige/Elise/Evora generation is over, all we can say is, don't sell and keep it forever, these cars are real treasures! That green Final Edition paint was nice but we may have a preference for the all black + gold combo! It's so badass!😄 Glad to hear that you're excited about the Emira! And you made a good point, fingers crossed that the electronics will be on point... Performance is one thing but for a car that aims to catch up with other modern cars in terms of the environment the driver will be in, it's an important point. Again, many thanks for your really nice comment and we CANNOT wait to show you the next video! Take care, and talk soon!😊
wow!! Congratulations on your Exige! And thank you for your comment, because that is honestly the most flattering thing to know that we contributed even a tiny bit in your decision to buy an Exige!😊 Enjoy it to the max!!
