Thanks for showing the difference between a foam pad verses a felt pad. Sometimes we feel that we are doing something wrong when blending and it is the way the pad disperses the ink. Appreciate this very much.

I just purchased a 4 color set. What I would like to know is how much should a brand new full size ink pad weigh in grams? I’m curious because I’m concerned about getting older stock and if they are too light I will contact the seller. Also, is this how one would know if they received old stock? I feel this happened to me previously with a different brand of ink but from the same website. I don’t want to name the website because if I’m wrong I don’t wish to sully their name.
