You get to realize what makes the top Westerns top. The writing is sharp, tight and an amazing amount of excitement and interest in just half an hour. Rifleman for example.
I do remember that series from a long time ago, many thanks.
Even with the quality of some of the footage, still much better, moral, purer and wholesome entertainment than anything available today.
Thanks for the uploads.
Amen to that!
By a long shot
That was very close get hang; glad writer got some innovative ideas! Well written script!

Didn't see some of these old western series because we didn't have a TV love watching them now thank you

I missed this program totally ! Thanks again for the entertainment and a slice of television cowboy history.
I'm addicted to the Forsaken Westerns, it's my nightly indulgence....
I'm with you.. God bless America
What would we have done without all of the westerns we love so much? Years and years of entertainment. To me westerns are like pizza... even the bad ones are still good.
Another great thriller from The Forsaken Western.
Good clean shows.
Every time when I find a good series there is only a few episodes left. But thanks anyway! Keep em coming!
I'm sure some collector as the entire series tucked away somewhere. maybe one day we can see the whole thing.
I like these Forsaken Westerns...thank you so much!

A very good episode from the series from 1959-60.
Thanks for sharing. Never saw this series before.
Thanks for uploading this episode
love the star trek sound affects
Coool! Quite an oath! I hope for improvement in reproduction quality. Even so, it is better than much of the entertainment industry in quality of content, perhaps for recent decades! Thank you!
That was a good movie for me , these movies keep the American Dream of the west , that's is why I am going ,leaving mich.
@Fred Roger , Where you going?
Thanks Much Mr B.T.
10:57 CHARLES MAXWELL you know him from STAR TREK at the ok Coral
The younger Montague Brother kind of looked like Martin Short........!
One thing that hasn't changed since day 6, the shameless hussies of this world.
And the men who use and abuse them.
You think she was a hussy? I didn't see that I just thought she was a dingbat, not a good member for the women's lib movement. But I guess just going out there to meet a strange man like that could make her qualify ,but I'm no Angel I definitely couldn't cast the first stone, Could you?
Easy to see why this series never got off the ground...
Something about people and their negative comments just irks me, in ways it's still better than some of the shows that make it today , that's what commentns are for , the good, bad and The ugly, ,

@@KNT.63 Saying that "in some ways it's still better than some shows that make it today" might be true, but it's hardly a recommendation, given the absolute trash inflicted upon the viewing public these days.
@@Baskerville22I can't argue with that,
@@KNT.63 Given that there were around 200 Western TV series across the 1950s-1960s - in the USA - the competition for the Western aficionado viewer was fierce. Here in Australia, we didn't get to see most of those series. Bonanza was most popular, along with Cheyenne, Laramie, Bat Masterson, Daniel Boone, Have Gun Will Travel, The Rifleman, Maverick, Rawhide, Wagon Train.
I can't recall ever seeing Gunsmoke when I was a youngster.
Looking at several of the Forsaken Westerns....I get the impression that most were very low-budget 'fillers' rather that whole-hearted attempts at quality viewing, along the lines of the hour-long biggies such as Bonanza, High Chaparral, Gunsmoke.
Are you related to Bob Terry ?
10:01 DABS IS THE SHERIFF
Trivia-Sheriff Barrett played by Robert "Dabbs" William Greer. Distinctive voice. In the business for 50 years. He is probably best remembered for his role as Rev. Alden on Little House on the Prairie (1974) but he was also a regular on the TV series Gunsmoke (1955) as a merchant, Mr. Jonas, and Picket Fences (1992) as Rev. Henry Novotny. He also appeared in made-for-TV movies and guest-starred on such series as Adventures of Superman (1952); The Rifleman (1958); Wanted: Dead or Alive (1958); Trackdown (1957); Perry Mason (1957); Bonanza (1959); The Fugitive (1963) and The Brady Bunch (1969).
Greer's last role in a long and successful career, was in the hit movie, The Green Mile. He shared the starring role with Tom Hanks--Hanks as the younger version, Greer as the much older version--of lead character, Paul Edgecomb. Greer's character narrates throughout the entire film. It is from Greer's p.o.v. and memory flashbacks that the entire tale unfolds. He was 82 years old.
He got his stage name "Dabbs" from his grandmother because that was her maiden name.
"Married" two of the most well-known couples on television. On The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961) he played the army chaplain who married Rob and Laura Petrie, and on The Brady Bunch (1969) he played the minister who married Mike and Carol Brady.

The OLD MAN @ 3:00 has a Cartoonish Voice, he reminds me of the Hanna/Barbara Cartoon Dog that was always miserable.......his constant complaining..
“ Wowzie, Wowzie, Woo-Woo...” I forget the name? Anyone know the actors name ?

Identify theft in the 1870's.
