I just love the Goats, it's such a pity that they really are such hard work. It's awesome that you are friends with Carrissa and Ewan, I love Frankie and Dioggo. It would be awesome to see them having a play date with beautiful, precious Molly. I'm sure they've had many though 😅😂😊 You and Luke have achieved so much dear Sarah. Thank you for showing people what can be achieved if you believe and then do. Farm work is hard work, but it's the best life 😊❤
Thank you Louise ❤️❤️, yes goats are hard work but it would have been much easier if we were set up properly for them, we were just not ready for them but didn't realise that at the time
A lovely video and great insight to your past 5 yrs of highs and lows especially your goats that had to be given a new home..You guys do work very hard but seem to enjoy yourselves...You have a great life style and you are certainly an envy to people like me who love to catch up with your lives Thankyou for getting in the time to put out your video!
What a beautiful video! I've been watching since I saw you with Ben Fogle and Luke and Sarah you have achieved so much in the five years since you made the leap to your 'new life in the wild '. I feel by tuning in regularly I help in a very small way. I really look forward to Saturday afternoons and a catch up with you all . Congratulations on all you have achieved so far 🎉❤x
Very nice recap. Well done 😊. I appreciate all the work, and the love and emotion that I'm confident went into making it. Nice to revisit with some of the "family", gone but never forgotten. So, what ever happened with the digger? I'm thinking I remember it had one final issue but haven't seen it since. Just curious, because I know what a big help it was. Have a lovely week and see you next time. 🥰🌿♥️
Thanks Meg the digger is mostly Ok it just needed a part that Luke ordered from China and now we are just waiting for a cooler day and some of Nicks time to help Luke put it in and then hopefully she will be ready to go again. have a lovely week too x x
Love the video, and wow look at your achievements, over 5 years you have both done fantastic 😊👍🏻 with all your animals and the land but most importantly you have total freedom. Take care both of you and many happy memories to be made 👍🏻 x x
Wonderful video! Clearly I have some catching up to do Sarah and Luke! Only started watching your channel recently after seeing you with Nick and Andrea and the Foggies! Love your interaction with the many creatures and plants, how you go your many projects, and your filming and editing. Such a pleasure to see. Thank you.
You have achieved so much this year and some has lasted whilst others have become valuable experiences with friends. You both work really hard at everything and your passion is infectious - keep being you! Well done on another great anthology of your year!
Unbelievable... Some stuff seemed so long ago... but it just happened last year... Time can do strange things. But it was really nice to see all the fluffy ones again 😍
Everyone lets try to help Luke and Sarah by sharing their awesome video content on our social media platforms 👍 because they are wonderful and have such beautiful personalities. Just an adoring fan of the channel.
I'm going to save this one for when there is nothing on the TV to watch, I've been following you since the start and watched your episode with Ben Fogle New Lives In The Wild that was repeated again last week in the UK
That's the way guys! We did it to! Just sold everthing and bought a stone house in center Portugal and trying to live as much off-grid as we can! Abd finally we are happy! And debt free!!
How lovely to be able to be able to get totally absorbed into your life on the land. Memories of my visit came rushing back. Very best wishes and fondest thoughts coming your way. Much love, Mama.
Just recently saw a gas powered post driver on another channel. I had always seen people using brute force and the manual post pounder. The channel I saw this put up chain link fence post and boy was it a time and body saver for them. It does T post also. Kind of looked at some on Amazon and they come in different sizes.
It was heartbreaking to watch the outdoor kitchen build again after last week's video. So much hard work gone to waste. I am sure that one day Luke will do it again and it will be just as amazing as the pig house.
Can't be happy all the time,we do get tried and tested on a regular basis 😂 but we are very happy with our choices 💞 and wake up excited to start the day
i have started the planning stages and have been reading about how to actually write and publish a book because i have no clue about anything . But I am hoping to get the first one started next week
Remarkable changes over the time you've been on your beautiful land. Luke and Sarah it's time to enjoy your house build. The ruin will transform into an amazing home. ❤
The robinsons of portugal! You build and build and its out of native material and its gloriously useful stuff..and only costs your labor.. snd ingenuity.. love your spirit..good luck in the future from mobile, al.
There's a spray you can get, most Marinas' or Maritime supply stores have it. You spray it on canvas, jeans (I know it works on) and it makes them WATERPROOF!! YES!! I sprayed it on my Bimini and Dodger on my sailboat and all the canvas I had to cover the sails and hatches for protection as well! It's Wonderful stuff! Just a little FYI! OF course you could use fiberglass and polyresin(it's cheaper than Epoxy) and cover the top and put whatever color you want. That will last longer than the logs!😂 JUST Suggestions you know that! I can't wait to see how yours turns out. Oh, there's this stuff called formate. In a 55 gallon drum you add about 3/4 bag 50 or 80lb, I'll have to look at my recipe, add water to mix. Then add some baking soda about three big shakes from the box. Ok, then you have this (CALLED FOMATE NOZZLE, where you put sauve(cheap shampoo) Scratch this. I'll have to find my friends video. Basically it will take that cement mixture of 1/4 of the 55 gallon barrel and put bubbles yes bubbles of course your mixing the entire time and fill that 55 gallon drum up withe the slurry! It's lite, waterproof, and has a R-factor for insulation of like 30!! It's strong. It's awesome! Look up Darwin, (honey_do_carpenter) on Instagram or UA-cam. Watch....he will show you.....😊

Would be expensive to fibre glass I think. I did look up formate but didn't find anything online.
