The Rickson Gracie Upa Escape

A few years ago, Budo Jake invited Rickson Gracie to participate in an episode of his popular show "Rolled Up".
The episode had 4 parts where they talked about Jiu-Jitsu and also went to the mats to practice some Jiu-Jitsu moves.
One of the moves was the Upa Escape from the mount. Rickson asked Jake to escape the mount using the Upa Escape and told him he wasn't going to defend by using the technical mount.
When Jake executed the move, Rickson countered by posting the second hand on the mat and stoping the bridge.
After a few failed attempts, Rickson identified the technical mistake Jake was making and gave him a powerful detail that will make the Upa escape unstoppable.
In this video, we discuss the common mistake students make when they bridge and how to fix it using Rickson Gracie's concept.
