- In this video I will show you how I made steel girders and how you can make them at home. I also show you a robot that I custom painted. Its part of a plan to give the station a new look and new feel. Hope you enjoy the video and happy modeling everyone!!!

Those girders look great! I think that diorama looks amazing altogether, especially with the additions of those girders
Very inspiring work, Jason. Your advice is always welcome!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it!
Painting the braces green was a stroke of genius. That little bit of extra color really brings the scene to life!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate hearing that!
Good on the girders Jason. I really like those figures, very nice paint work! I have found Your videos to be most enjoyable, informative and most importantly, instructional! Thank You so much for taking Your time and having the consideration to share Your knowledge and FUN with all of Us out here in tubeland! Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless Later
Fantastic work as always Jason, you never fail to inspire!!!
Thank you so very much!!!
Thanks for another videos, it’s really coming along nicely

Nice work! Glad you are back on your Sci-fi game. ❤ It is a struggle when our vision for a project becomes clouded. Excellent work today. Thanks. 😸👍
Thank you so very much!!! I truly appreciate it!
Looking great Jenson this made want to get on with the sci fi corner of my layout . Thanks for the inspiration 👌😎☕️ Fred
Thank you so much!!! Have fun modeling!
Excellent addition! I knew this layout was started to look a little lackluster, but I couldn't put my finger on the problem. I can see you are back on track with your personal creativity, and what a difference it makes! Love the factory green color on these steel girders! Fantastic!
Thank you Jason!

Jason, those girders really make the edges now pop. Great colour, and hide the edges.
Thank you for sharing, cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Thank you so much Michael!!!
Awesome stuff. I need to look into lasercutters asap
Thank you so much!!! Great show today, I really enjoyed it! Having a laser cutter and a 3D printer has taken my modeling to another level. You can make anything you can dream of.
heck yeah! glad you found your second wind on this, i love watching this project
Thank you so much!!! 👍
Amazing work !
Thank you so much Rad!!! 👍
You never disappoint with your brilliant creations. Excellent work man!
Thank you so much my friend!!! 👍
Really cool!
Thank you so much!!!
Great idea those girders to help add to the effect I could almost see a futeristic type neon hanging from one or two of them.
Thank you so much!!! Great idea of hanging signs from those girders! 👍
Another great addition, Jason. I was wondering if you were going to get back to your sci-fi layout. As you say, some modern equipment can really help your creativity but if, like me, your resources don't stretch that far, look around for a local maker space. They give you access to all sort of handy equipment for a reasonable monthly subscription. -Trevor Briggs
Thank you so much Trevor!!! And thanks for sharing the good advice.
So much fun. Keep the sci-fi energy high! What type of train will run through the sci-fi portion; what will it be hauling Energy, stolen material?
Thank you so much!!! It will be a custom train, I actually have to build two ( one for the lower level ). They will be for moving droids and scrap metal.
Cool Jason 😎
Colour! It is so important. You are right. Recently I have been using bright yellow for any industrial equipment or vehicles and that has helped me break up the greys, silvers and blacks. ❤😊I love your colours. Do you have a comprehensive back story or head cannon for your station?
Thanks for that reminder, I need to incorporate some yellow for sure.
Treat edges with soft pencil. It will give it "steel look"
Thank you so much!!! I do that all the time in HO scale, don’t know why I didn’t do it in this scale, lol.
Jason, are those metal blocks with the holes in on your work bench weights? if so where are they from?
They are called 1 2 3 blocks. You can get them on Amazon.
@JasonJensenTrains thank you Jason!!!
Sorry if I missed this earlier but what vector editing software and laser cutter do you use?
I used Coreldraw to design them and my laser cutter is made by Epilog. Thanks for watching!
Will you be selling these on your site.. ?
Not right now but maybe some day. Thanks for watching!!!
Do you ever sleep?
lol, I try not too! Thanks for watching!!!
