    Thank you so much for bringing TKOR back to where it works best, it has been years since I've seen any genuine from-the heart content from this channel. Cheers!

    My brother has made SO many of these. He's been part of the larping community for about 10 years now, and was taught how to make these by even older members way back then! It's amazing to see the exact same process being done on video!

    Love it
    Finally, the channel is alive again. The thematology is right, and the new host has a lot of potential, once he gains some camera experience. Little advice, I think the thumbnail should be more focused on the finished product, and also you should have had 2-3 minutes at the end, showcasing the final build, instead of ending abruptly (I know this is kinda nitpicking, but I love this channel and I'm so hopeful for it's future. I just want to help any way I can)

    Jarom I love your energy and it reminds me of Grant, I stopped watching since Cali and Nate left, but I always come in and check from time to time because as a fan and with respect for Grant, I never gave up on the channel. I've watched TKOR since the beginning of the channel, I've been watching your last 3 videos man and your energy and your projects remind me of Grant so much that it brought tears of joy to my eyes. Please keep going, and I promise you if you guys keep this up all of us OG fans will make sure to show love and support. And one day TKOR will be back to its former glory .
    Can't wait to see the next video ❤

  • @weekendstuff
    @weekendstuff 10 місяців тому +10

    There is something called a pool noodle here. It is also foam though a little less dense. But still OK for kids use I'd guess. Benefit. Already round. Less cutting and shaping. So faster sword. Downside: less construction time with your kid before you get hit with it 😂

    • @TheKingofRandom
      @TheKingofRandom  10 місяців тому +7

      Pool noodles are great for younger kids! Cheap and easy to build! They just don’t have enough impact resistance for adults to use them for very long.

    • @corrpendragon
      @corrpendragon 10 місяців тому +2

      Can confirm, I've been hit by plenty of pool noodle swords. This is essentially Level 2 of that.
      Pool noodle bats are fun and VERY entertaining for younger folks. But adults hit harder, and pool noodles break down very quickly and can easily lead to injury. :)

    A couple things that would be nice to see for each project are an approximate time spent and cost of materials. I know cost would differ depending on where you source things from, but it would be good to know upfront before getting into a project.
