People have a lot of misconceptions and lack of knowledge about religions. It’s a fact that not all Arabic speaking ppl are Muslim. Also a lot of ppl who live in middle east are not Muslim. Secondly ppl who come on shows like this are not practicing Muslims so their behavior has nothing to do with Islam. Also people’s behavior and beliefs can be result of culture not religion. So many Muslims in India have a lot of customs that are purely Indian and have nothing to do with Islam. And there are a lot of African practices and customs in African countries that have nothing to do with Islam. But ppl blame religion. In some cases ppl are following customs that are actually against Islam. So don’t speak without knowledge. Plus it’s a fact that men from any religion or country can be immature or annoying.
Not wild to us. It’s normal. However, never seen someone asks a new girl he just met if it’s okay to have a second wife. It’s more in serious situations like if the wife can’t conceive a child or doesn’t want a child.
@@StarlightBibi Ummmm, if I may ask...My best friend is conservative Muslim (from Iran), and she would find conversations about 'second wives' HIGHLY offensive and unusual. So, when you say 'not wild to us' are you talking about a certain country in specific? Because certainly there are plenty of Muslim women, such as my friends, would would sooner divorce than talk about 'second wives'.
Men are only allowed to have 2nd wife in Islam if they can treat them equally. Meaning give them everything equally. So realistically speaking only rich guys can afford to have more than one wife. Also divorce is allowed in Islam. Anyway men who aren’t Muslim often have mistresses and that’s legal. In many Muslim countries women outnumber men due to war etc so it kind of works as a solution to social problem where many women want to have children and be married but there aren’t enough eligible single men. It’s not any worse solution than in west where men who donate/sell sperm and father so many children. It’s legal to father multiple children as sperm seller. Many single women in west choose sperm bank where in Muslim countries they choose to be 2nd wife.
@@FishareFriendsNotFood972 it’s wild to many of us lol. Some cultures are more accepting of it though. It basically depends on where you come from more so than just being Muslim.

Do not blame religion for men being immature. Every love is blind from every religion and country has bad guys and there are bad guys everywhere. On all the other love is blind no one will say the guy was bad because of religion. Regardless of religion men can be good or bad. No religion in the world can prevent guys from being annoying.
The difference between abusive and "annoying" is HUGE. Fundamentalist interpretation is demeaning to women in general (eastern or western) and denies them their human rights. IMHO.
@@c.a.savage5689I hate to shock you but there are millions of cases of women in America being physically and emotional abused by men who are not Muslim. Why not blame their religion?
some religions/cultures are more abusive towards women, it’s a fact. of course there are rather liberal versions of any religion, however the core values affect the soicety in various degrees. so, i think we shouldn’t be judgemental towards any religon/culture, at the same time it’s also okay to accept and see some differences and effects on people, especially on women.
@@c.a.savage5689the Middle East definitely has more of a culture issue than religious when it comes to women’s rights. And honestly, misogyny is on the rise worldwide right now. It needs to be tackled because it’s truly concerning…just look at all these trump supporting American men that are raving about owning women’s bodies again and that men are back in charge. Islam is actually the most ‘feminist’ abrahamic religion. Men try to twist meanings and come up with interpretations in order to make it more difficult for women but that only works on the ignorant and those who aren’t knowledgeable. I always encourage Muslim women to learn their rights because they hold alot more power than they realize.
I watched this one and I rarely even watch any of these kinds of shows. I was curious and clicked on the first episode and lo and behold I got addicted and watched the whole thing! 😂 Now I can’t wait to see what happened to all the couples. Anybody know when that episode will come out?
The focus on femininity comes from both feeling insecure in their masculinity, and very much a control aspect. Apart from just liking ‘softness’, it also implies that the women may be less outspoken, direct, and expecting of decency when the men try to establish that their say is final in the relationship.

Hajar did not say she wanted to be w another man like that I can see why from her words you would think that but any sex outside of marriage is 100% not acceptable in Arab cultures. So my strong guess is that she was talking about strip club. And I agree I saw her shrink into a ball when her guy talked to her about it and I felt for her. I could also see how she miscalculated his character completely bc of what happened after when the guys got into a fight and he wanted her to be at his side?!?! Why would she even intervene in that situation. No man should expect that lol he is a complete weird for everything he did on that show.
sex isn't accepted in our culture, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, also they are obviously open minded.... so I am pretty sure she meant being with another man
@@zaidkuzan1096 you really think an Arab woman would talk about that on tv?? I’m sure they are “open minded” it looks like it lol but I’m also very sure she won’t publicize that on tv lol those who wanna do these things just go and do it in privacy.
@@insightsbyv maybe she will provide explanation on the reunion but I doubt it. I would wager that she wouldn’t even mention it to her future husband if that’s what she had in mind. Especially not on tv. Maybe in private couples can agree to those things if they both want to do that but VERY FEW Arab man will publicly agree/allow his bride to be to have a one night stand on tv like that. Men however do say yeah go to strip club w your girl friends bc it’s normal sometimes bc of how modern their lives are but not sex. It just doesn’t make sense. I’m married to an Arab, the Arab men we know would never agree to let their fiancé visit strip club even bc they won’t do that publicly. If they go w their male friends they keep it secret.
@insightsbyv I'm moroccan as both hajar and simo and trust me when I say she literally meant that she wants to sleep with another guy😅 in Morocco we sometimes call sex cake😂
But the funny thing is I think if the man was the one who wanted to cheat before getting married you would go IN on him, not be understanding and feel sorry for him like you do with the woman here 😅
Uff that's a fair point.. Man I hope I'd have the same energy😅 In this case though I did focus more on the way he reacted which I felt was pretty problematic... I was kind of doubtful what did she actually mean (I think I mentioned it in the video). But to be clear, I don't condone cheating in any case.
In the arab countries, it is forbidden to kiss in public. so it is ok for the man to kiss the forhead to express his respect to the woman. cultural thing.
Acutely arab culture expects men to be providers nd protectors of women, it isn’t about her being weak nd can’t provide for herself but her having the burden of childbirth, something a man can never do or take upon himself, so for to be equal relationship he must take the burden of their spending. Thats how we arabs see it. Women are cared for nd protected even if she is rich nd have a blackbelt.
@@kingadatomaof course they can. It’s literally how me and all my friends live 😂 I feel like people asking if we can travel or go out with friends and drive etc have literally never left the town they were born in. Some traveling will open the mind about different people and cultures.
There is a fine line with sarcastic jokes where you are making fun of your partner and it should almost always be done in person where you can both show that you are kidding, but also check that your partner is not hurt by it and react appropriately. I would advise the person that is the subject of the sarcasm to either indicate visually at the time and verbally later to let them know they did not like the joke as it can be harmless with one couple and pretty ugly in another. I would also strongly encourage to not just say "it was a joke" and dismiss it as if your partners feelings shouldn't be hurt by what you felt was just a joke. That's a recipe for disaster later.
😂😂 😂 Maybe if you know their meanings in English, it would be easier. Noor means light. Dounia means the world. Safaa means purity or serenity. Shafeeq means compassionate or empathetic. Hajar is the name of the wife of the prophet Ismael (Ismail) in Islam. Asmaa means high status. Mohammad means worthy of praise.
Men were very immature and demanding. They’re expecting the women to be beautiful, modern, financially independent but most of the men on the show do not have good jobs or are rich or well educated or very handsome. However I don’t think the dentist Ammar is as bad as he was shown. He was respectful. Ppl are just attacking him because he’s Muslim but men from many cultures and religions don’t want their wife to dance as a profession. He told her you can dance at home as hobby but she told him she wants to dance in public and professionally. He has a right to not want that. That’s his choice and he was honest abt it. Just like some women in any culture or religion wouldn’t want a husband who dances professionally. Also it’s weird that she’s trying to become a dancer professionally considering she’s not even that good of a dancer. I mean the professional dancers are so good, even belly dancers. She doesn’t have much skills as a dancer. If she wanted to do as a hobby it’d be fine and he even said that but she insisted she wanted to do it professionally and perform on stage. Dancers who perform on stage are on a different level and she’s nowhere near that. So it was an odd reason to break up with him for dancing. The rest of the men and women were immature and it seemed like they just wanted to be on a show and not really get married.
@ The only guy who backed out after ammar told him was chafiq. But chafiq wa also interested in duniya, hajar and nour. In fact he had admitted he felt strongest connection to dunya and he said no to hajar & nour soon after. So he was planning to say no to karma too but he just acted like he was doing ammar a big favor. Also upon seeing karma he didn't seem to regret it and didn't seem attracted to karma. He had even said in pods he likes tan skin and karma is very pale. I'm not saying karma isn't pretty. In fact all the girls were very pretty. But it was obvious chafiq found dunya more attractive. Karma only had connection with ammar & chafiq and even told ammar he was her strongest connection.
That is the most ridiculous excuse I have seen for this pathetic guy who is actually a doctor which is scary as hell. What is scarier is that this excuse probably is coming from a woman
the dentist i think he should mention cant this cant this cant this on the first place. im sure he will not match to any woman on the first place . omg he is not even live on 20 century. cannot dance omg . so close minded. im sorry.😂
So since I’m from this region and I live in Dubai this is my insight on some of the points you brought up: 1. Public displays of affection (PDA) are limited due to religious and conservative values, but a forehead kiss is more socially acceptable because it shows respect. 2. I feel the West has demonized the words “Feminine” and “Masculine”. The way we use them usually means security and confidence in your feminine/masculine energy. 3. As for the idea of “Protection”, honestly it was excessive, and I would feel worried if someone kept telling me that. However, I think the intention was to make her feel safe, given her challenging past, getting bullied, and taking care of family responsibilities from a young age after her father’s passing (May his soul rest in peace). I hope this helps.

And there are a lot of African practices and customs in African countries that have nothing to do with Islam. But ppl blame religion. In some cases ppl are following customs that are actually against Islam. So don’t speak without knowledge. Plus it’s a fact that men from any religion or country can be immature or annoying.
The whole conversation about potentially taking a second wife was WILD to me
Not wild to us.
I have never seen so many problematic, misogynistic, judgemental, disrespectful, and controlling men in one place in my life. It was horrible. Now the whole bachelorette party thing, I agreed with Simu. But instead of getting mad and losing it, I wish he'd kept his cool and ask more questions because I don't think she was joking either. I mean if that's how she feels, it's not my thing, but say it with your chest. I'm sure there are men out there who would love to have a pass for a night along with her.
I loved love is blind habibi. It was so interesting and highly entertaining
Thanks for covering this ❤❤❤
The amount of emphasis on "I'm going to protect you" makes it sound like they live in a war zone. D... Do they?
where do you come from? majority of the world the man protects the women
I think it’s an admirable quality because the essence of a man is to be a protector for his family.
Actually, Safa came from Iraq, which was under U.S. fire for years. That’s why people like her and her family had to escape and leave Iraq. Mohammad is from Palestine, where there is ongoing genocide by Israel. But no, it’s like saying, I will always be there for you and for our family, and I will never abandon you.
@@englishblade strange thing to say. Protect from what exactly? As clearly stated when not in a war situation what specifically this protection entails? Specific precise information, not beat up red pill talking points.
@@englishbladereally? I hear more men killing and destroying women than protecting, don't be delusional
In fact, every single guy in that group, what's the misogynistic sexist controlling guy, some were less than the others, some were putting it out, very openly somewhere doing it hidden behind words like protective, and I am an oriental man, and this is how i'm raised. The fact that in today's world, a dentist who went to medical school is insecure that his wife cannot dance in front of an audience while he can take a shower in front of a TV camera and then invokes the way he was raised for this attitude. While the other "men" are nodding their heads Tells you that these men still live in seventh century
i can't wait to watch this video! I've watched it, and have been itching to hear other women's perspectives on it. Brave of you to tackle it, idk if I could communicate honest thoughts about it in a diplomatic way. Did they do a reunion episode yet?
Coming on friday and I'm excited to see what happened next😁
@@insightsbyv l REALLY hope you'll do a video on it. Watching your video, analyzing what happens is SO much better than slogging through the real thing. You really cut to the chase. 👏 👏 👏
23:20 I completely agree with you that women offer MORE than just their feminine and soft traits. I want someone to be just as pride as I am about how hard of a worker I am, intelligent, self-sufficient, and etc.
There’s more to all of us than just our femininity ❤️🫶🏻
Men of any religion can abuse women. There are millions of cases of women abused by men who are not Muslim.
some religions/cultures are more abusive towards women, it’s a fact. of course there are rather liberal versions of any religion, however the core values affect the soicety in various degrees. so, i think we shouldn’t be judgemental towards any religon/culture, at the same time it’s also okay to accept and see some differences and effects on people, especially on women.
Love your content !!you are funny but critical ..please review the reunion
Your video popped up on my front page, and I’m so glad it did! Your personality and commentary is so entertaining! New sub here!
Aiii welcomeee🥰🥰
I watched this one and I rarely even watch any of these kinds of shows. I was curious and clicked on the first episode and lo and behold I got addicted and watched the whole thing! 😂 Now I can’t wait to see what happened to all the couples. Anybody know when that episode will come out?
November 1st on Netflix
The focus on femininity comes from both feeling insecure in their masculinity, and very much a control aspect. Apart from just liking ‘softness’, it also implies that the women may be less outspoken, direct, and expecting of decency when the men try to establish that their say is final in the relationship.
But wait... Did hayar say she wants to cheat on her bachelorette party?😅 Or did i misunderstand? I would be kinda pissed as well😅
yes she did, she was a mess no idea why she came to the show
@@englishblade im sorry...but....how woul "we" feel if the guy said that? 🧐🤨🧐🤨Excuuuuuseeee meeeee?!?
@@Soul-g1l i stay by my point of view...a guy making that "joke" will definitely make me go 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨 ok...have fun.....🙂↔️byeeeee.. (wouldn't know why it should be different if a girl is making that "joke" instead)
Yeah I was a bit doubtful about what did she actually mean..
sex isn't accepted in our culture, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, also they are obviously open minded.... so I am pretty sure she meant being with another man
@@zaidkuzan1096 you really think an Arab woman would talk about that on tv??
@insightsbyv I'm moroccan as both hajar and simo and trust me when I say she literally meant that she wants to sleep with another guy😅 in Morocco we sometimes call sex cake😂
the tyler shade halfway through lmao
Tyler was such a disappointment
Love this video ❤❤❤. Funny, clever and POV that is very interesting. Hope you do a follow-up to see who marries who. Or not.
LOL girl you are genuinely funny 😂
1:09:55 This kind of power dynamic is NOT healthy for parent-child relationships either.
Thanks for covering this. Felt like I was having a chat with a good friend 😊
In the arab countries, it is forbidden to kiss in public. so it is ok for the man to kiss the forhead to express his respect to the woman. cultural thing.
Girl I was about to go to sleep 😂
🤭🤭
Same.
Haha you’re soo funny , when you mentioned Nutella. I can’t 😂❤😊 love your videos 🫶🏻☺️
Thank u for this. So many good points. Especially the Bros before Women part. They were gross, esp at the reunion
And they could spend time alone, go and meet friends, it s not an issue?
@@kingadatoma Or drive a car? Be in a room with another man (even professionally) without a male family member present?
@c.a.savage5689 From an european woman's perspective that's hard to understand.
@@kingadatomaof course they can. It’s literally how me and all my friends live 😂 I feel like people asking if we can travel or go out with friends and drive etc have literally never left the town they were born in. Some traveling will open the mind about different people and cultures.

Amazing video ❤
I can’t I just can’t keeping all of these name straight is hard than keeping game of thrones characters alive
😂😂 😂
Maybe if you know their meanings in English, it would be easier.
Ooooooohhhh, I really like Noor and Dounia! Are these common names in these countries or rather rare?
@ Yes, both names are common in Arabic countries, but Noor is more popular
to be fair, the girls in the middle east do like to be told theyre going to be protected by the guys
hajar flower moment was so funny
52:45 about Nour and Chafic
It was not ok thant he told the other men to step back. It should have been Karma's decision not his, by forcing the other guys to quit.

You won't relate to this programme! Arabs dating life and mariage isn't the same as the west at all.
So since I’m from this region and I live in Dubai this is my insight on some of the points you brought up:
Thank you!❤️
Feminine and masculine energy is just repackaged patriarchy
