    Great video series. Side note. You can hold shift and twist the encoder to drop your root note down an octave.

      Oh thanks for replying. I am Rakesh from Leeds UK I play Indian /Punjabi folk/ Bollywood song on my KORG PA00 arranger keyboard. Though I am not trained and have no knowledge of music theory, I have collected almost 90K subscribers 😂 So I realised that I should add some more gears to my little studio, bought Maschine3 and found your beautiful channel. Here are my couple of performances on KORG PA900

      Basically I was bored playing same beats on keyboard. I wanna make mine own now. Please tell me where from I can buy some good and cheap Indian drum kits/ Bhangra kits to add in Maschine software? Thanks to you for all those tutorials that I already playing a bit after couple of days I bought that Maschine 🙏
      Warm Regards

    • @SanjayC
      @SanjayC  4 роки тому

      I dont' think that Maschine has that feature (I may be wrong). But you can try the Chord set feature like I showed in this video, but of course you'll just have the chords - you won't combine chords plus drums. To do that, you have to save your chords as a sample (audio file), and then add it to your drum set.

    Hello, I have a question regarding using the chords feature. Under the keyboard portion you configure the pads to the C major scale. Are you able to perform the same function under chords? Meaning could I play the chords under a selected major or minor scale chosen? If yes, is the mapping to the pads identical to the intervals you played in the C major scale?

    Great video!
    I have a question about whether it can be used in ableton with the template in a manner similar to Maschine Jam that I own. Greetings from Spain. (Sorry about my google-english...) ;)

      Thank you! You can use Maschine as a plugin in Ableton.

    Is this an alright midi for playing live? Compatible with MacOS Mainstage? Love your videos btw. ❤️

      Thanks, MrShadOh! Yes, this can be used as a midi device for playing live, even with Mainstage. But I think a keyboard would be better. But I'm a pianist.

    Very nice videos! Thanks a lot! Could you maybe make one video on how to setup "real" instruments (guitar, piano etc.). I've been having some troubles with it. Thanks anyway!

      How do you mean? Like record real instruments through a microphone?

      @@SanjayCthanks for answering so fast! More like via audio interface. I have already everything connected, but still the e-piano doesn't "go into" the software.

      Oh I get it, I meant e-piano and e-guitar. Not real-real (acoustic) instruments. :)

      The MK3 doesn't have an audio input, so you'll have to record sounds to your computer first and then play them with the sampler
