Please let us know when the Monstors kickstarter goes up. That might be the first Kickstarter campaign where I get the deluxe full roster, it looks incredible!
20:13 Those Monstors figures are off the fucking chain, totally awesome looking. I'm definitely paying attention for when the Kickstarter goes live next year. 🎉
Awesome coverage, Hatter!!! I was super stoked to see you feature Dave's MonstOrs! He's a solid dude and his toys are amazing! I was fortunate enough to help him flesh out a couple of the character designs in that book he showed you. I can't wait for the Kickstarter--I'm hoping MonstOrs take the world by storm!!!
Igo is the man! Excited to see his MonStors and glad you gave him a little facetime. Also, the TMNT art on the sweatshirt/tees/skateboards is by James Jean.
MONSTORS!!!!! Can't find info online yet. As soon as they said the parts can swap. Holy crap! Im in!!! Hatter, you HAVE to tell them to advertise that swappable parts fact. Thats gotta be HUUUUGE !!!
Damn! I can't believe I was standing in line behind the Mad Hatter at the Four Horsemen booth. I had a gut feeling it was you and this video confirms that, lol!! I went to that Con just to get that Valiant Knight which was unfortunately sold out.
I must have missed the Monstors when I was there. Pretty funky stuff. I understand a bit about some sameness of what you are talking about here in there, but to clarify, it looks like you were mainly in the horror Sofubi section when you brought that up. It’s a super niche subgenre on to itself, so I get it not always being for everyone. The guy you dissed at about 10 minutes in was named Paul Kaiju, one of the original founders of that particular style, and super friendly dude worth talking to sometime. Sofubi itself is incredibly niche and is still a bit weird to people getting in to toys that are generally featured at the show. Over time, The more big name companies and licensed stuff tends to be in the front and weirder stuff goes further back more and more, but I feel this year there was a decent blend of styles. Do you think you’ll go again when it goes to Vegas or do you think you’ll stick to bigger shows like comic con and the such?
Oh I freely admit I’m not well versed on that sub genre, it was just a gut reaction to seeing similar stuff. And yeah had no idea that guy was the originator so no disrespect to him now that I know he started this. I DO love original art tho which includes original tales on established IP , like what mondo is doing with that juggernaut. But I’d love to learn more about the sub genre , I thjnk Monstors was more my “style” in terms of original IP, I def want to try to go in Vegas if it works out. Also an excuse to go to Vegas Hahaa
@@madhatterreviews6705oh yah, I can see the monstors blowing up for sure, and that Juggernaut was totally cool. It’s all good, I’ve been on both sides of the fence and collect the old as well as the new. Toy art community both on the creation and collecting side has so many facets that it’s easy to get lost, but in a fun way. I did a few videos on my channel a few years ago that goes through the process of mold making for Sofubi, feel free to check them out (not the greatest quality). I say keep having fun! That’s what toys are there for. Btw, did you see James Gorman’s booth? He was one of the artists who worked on mad balls, barnyard commandos, food fighters, and even carebears AND the universal monster tmnt toys by neca
Man, the Corey Feldman stuff is just fucking sad. However I did laugh my balls off at you walking away shitting on him and those girls behind you had just paid to see him, lol!
The unfortunate part of you calling out the one artist doing the “overdone” Godzilla stuff is that he in particular has been doing it for over 20 years and folks have been copying his work.
Pop art trends are definitely getting a little played out. Even TMNT, I feel like it hit it's apex of overproduction this year. Marvel and Star Wars are done. It's time for some new shit.
I'll never understand why making action figures from rappers is a thing I collect and don't mind buying bad guys but I'm not going to have actual criminals on my shelf it's ridiculous what a joke
thanks so much for the interview and sharing us with your crowd man! Means a ton! @themonstors
You’re doing great stuff man! We’re all gonna eagerly be watching Monstors
I wrote myself a reminder for the Kickstarter. Can't wait to see it.
I'm absolutely IN for Monstors.
As soon as he said you can swap body parts and that bear! Awesome!
Thanks for looking at Monstors!

"I'm just too lazy to film it all so just imagine what it looks like." 😂 I f'n love the Hatter...
I've never been to con or show like this one. Thanks for sharing!

Bowser Jr was not in Super Mario World. It was Bowser and the 7 (I think) koopa kids.
Wish they hosted any convention in Pennsylvania, it looks awesome to be there!
This better not cut into my Geek Dad Life streaming time Hatter. Now that geek is dreamy 😂😂😂😂
17:25
Who is doing the James Jean TMNT Tee and sweatshirt? I would very much like to purchase both.

MONSTORS FOR THE W
Hater, how did you forget to mention Cory Feldmans most important role, the voice of Donatello in the original TMNT movie! 😂
Hahaah I was too starstruck to think!
20:07 I hope to get a hold of these awesome things
I’ve got both the ODB and Biggie from super7. They’re great!
This I gotta see
❤
What's the name of the figure @ 0:59?
Those cheesecakes tho
@ 7:55 DINOSAURS!!!
I knew you were a hip hop head!
Where was Corey's Angels?!?!?! Locked in there closet?
😂😂
Reviews the 1st ever monster review - omg tastes like shit! 💀🤣🤣 gotta love hatter keeping it real
Haahahah I still have the weird after taste
Man, the Corey Feldman stuff is just fucking sad. However I did laugh my balls off at you walking away shitting on him and those girls behind you had just paid to see him, lol!
LOL woooops. Sorry ladies
Lots of cool stuff but the Monstors really stood out
The unfortunate part of you calling out the one artist doing the “overdone” Godzilla stuff is that he in particular has been doing it for over 20 years and folks have been copying his work.
Oh he’s the original dude ???
*Corey's reps just invoiced you for taking unauthorized video... Or else the bodyguard will be making his way to your address.*
dammit!
"Nelson Mandela Effect"
Best part is how he's talking about the Cory pop and being a rip off and right behind him are two girls who paid for it lmao.
What upzzzzzz
Im so sad i would have liked to see corey feldman there. Such a big fan of his movies. Had no idea he was there 😖 -the pop is a ripoff though lol-
Corey Feldman... pawning Funkos. Mickey Rourke Funkos would`ve probably sold better
Distortion reptile art ???

Already followed Monstors on Facebook!
thanks so much!
