Thank you for making this video. Kind of ridiculous that Mustang doesn’t provide these tips on their website. Last year I screwed a new CO2 canister onto a fired pin and gave up in frustration. Just ordered the correct kits with bobbins. Thanks again! 🤙🏼
thank you for putting the disclaimer for removing the bobbin from the cap. mine was stuck and i spent a good bit of time trying to get it out. i was searching for answers before finding this video and running it under water as you listed. once i did that and the powder dissolved it slid right out.
My Onyx life jacket clear cap cross threads with the bobbin installed. The clear cap will not screw all the way down. If I put the clear cap on without the bobbin installed it will screw all the way down. Do you have a fix for this?

Do you know how to convert automatic to manual inflation ? I know there is a yellow cap for that, but I cant get it. Can be used the transparent cap taking out spring ? Or use the valve without the cap ?

Great video. Thanks. For those wondering, the bobbin may be safely removed, inspected and replaced while the unit is armed with a CO2 cartridge.
