Have been researching corals and reef tanks for 4 months now. Don’t own a reef yet however, still trying to put the money together to get one. But your videos are great and I’ve definitely learned a lot about the hobby through your videos. So thanks for all the help you provided!
Omg a reefer from Philippines, Hi! So like do reefer in the Philippines just take corals directly from the ocean? I was born in the Philippines (which actually inspired me to be a reefer lol) and i know corals are everywhere in there was kinda jealous.
@@apdroidgeek1737 Here in the PH, corals are not accessible like in the US because its illegal to own corals. You actually have to know guys who are willing to dive to get corals from the ocean
One tip that I have is buy a smart plug from amazon or Walmart for your timer. They are under $10 and will allow you full control for schedule and you will have access to your light no matter where you are.
I like the format, very informative, I have a little question, I already cycled my aquarium (around 6 weeks) and added already my CUC, but have doubts what to add now if the fish or the coral first (I see all type of answers over the internet) thanks again and great videos :)
Started a 10 gallon nano yesterday. I also bought a 3.5 gallon pico. I set them up and started a cycle. The 10 will be a quarantine tank for the pico. Plan to add an extra apex I have for the pico tank as well...lol
This series inspired me to do my own pico jar! Thank you! I'm curious what settings you run your light on and what your photo period is? Would love to see an update. Keep up the great work.
I need some opinions I got a new 55g 48” long tank and want to use a t5 system cuz its what I’ve been reading to be the best compared to led. So my question is would a t5 4ft 4 bulb work or would I need a 6bulb 4ft t5
I haven’t watched the other video on automation yet, but how do you feel about smart plugs? Plus how long would that tank run on say a computer style ups for battery backup or do they make a 12 dc led light strong enough that one could do a complete 12dc system and run off a deep cycle battery that has a continuous charger connected?

Far from true but I appreciate that!
I read somewhere that you have to dose them before putting them in the tank. Do you have a video how to do that or is this that video?
Dose. No, just dip them.

Love the tank
I need some opinions I got a new 55g 48” long tank and want to use a t5 system cuz its what I’ve been reading to be the best compared to led. So my question is would a t5 4ft 4 bulb work or would I need a 6bulb 4ft t5

Don't the air bubbles create foam on top like a skimmer e.g?
Cant wait to see these corals thrive in the pico
Me too.. Thanks again!
