I don't have idea about ICICI blocked account. But I assume they are similar as Kotak Mahindra.
So they will only block your money in INR and send you money every money by converting it, and they may charge higher conversation rate and most banks have high conversation charges.
Also they won't give you a value package for health insurance.
I would recommend you to also check expatrio, fintina and may be coracle as well.
@@Rajat_Sharma_Vlogs ICICI Bank in Germany follows Bafin regulations and their blocked account is approved by German Federal Foreign Office. They don't keep money in INR they keep money in Germany Branch in Euros. They also help with addon services like Education loan, Money transfer, Forex Card and German health insurance also.

1. mai to 20's mein hu to Coracle mein ek bar mein sab package mil jayenge, prob nahi ayegi (30's wali ki sab separate lena padega)
2. Expatrio mein 49 Euro cashback bhi mil jayega to wo to waise bhi in sab se best hai fir?
3. Expatrio mein 5Euro per Month Kitne month tak karana hai? (Example: 5*12= 60 Euro agar 49 casback bhi mil jaye to bhi 60 Euro to padega) and in CORACLE 59 Euro mein sab ho jayega. (Health acchi hai meri, public hi lena hai partner, and value/prime pack hi lunga)

Nothing much you can do... Processing time for bachelors + private uni are one of the highest...
You can only send email to embassy to ask for status, and if your file is at foreigner offer in Germany, then you can ask your uni to contain local foreign officer to process your file faster if possible...
What about icici blocked account....in website it is showing 150euro charge only

Travel insurance can be bought from any company be it Indian or German. For Health insurance, which gets activated post your registration in Germany as is must, has to be taken from German healthcare providers.

How many months deposit is required for a blocked account for doing Masters in Germany?
For study purpose, blocked account is initially setup for 1 year i.e. 12 months... Updated amount from Oct 2022 onwards is, 11208/year...
In some rare case - even 2nd year blocked account can be needed, this will be need by the end of 1st year when Residence permit will need to be extended - but this requirement depends on city to city - based on what local Visa officer need...

Hi Rajat, can you please share am Embassy Link where they mentioned expatrio is authorized. I am unable to find on my country germany embassy website.
Hello. I think no such link exists right now. Embassy used to have These companies on their website previously but not currently.

To open a blocked account, you should visit Kotak Mahindra branch, or call their helpline...
You will have to visit branch, connect with Manager, to set up blocked account, they will share the needed form and procedure for same...
Blocked account is like a new account, have nothing to do with existing bank account...

That will depend on Visa offer of your Bachelors Uni region... So you will have to contact them to know their requirements...
In many cases if students are able to save 4-6k in their bank account which is usually more than enough to pay rent for entire year in the region, from previous blocked account, or via job in breaks... Then sometimes local foreign office wave off need to have another new blocked account...

Yes, 2nd sem fee can be added to blocked account as additional sum. Transfer process is the same, but you need to firstly email or contact their support team and then proceed with the process.

For students blocked account of 12 months is needed. But for other purposes like Job Seeker visa etc. You can open blocked account with shorter duration.

They should return money to the same account from which you may have sent the money.

I need to transfer second sem fees aa unblocked amount to expatrio. They are saying it will be blocked seperately nd will be released if I get a letter from embassy. I want to ask that in future, do embassy provide such letter. Please reply as its really urgent

I personally prefer public uni more over private... And you can check the quality of uni by looking at its accreditation, match with top ranked uni if it has most like it or not. Another way is to check for alumni network size on LinkedIn and match it with other uni...

Sir I have 53 percentage in 12th and I completed my German B1 level and English 7 bands in ilets will i select in any University or OTH
German B1 and Good IELTS have made your weak score slightly balanced.. So yes, you can get into public uni which allow low GPA... One more thing you can do to increase chance is good IITJee advanced score or 13th year education score, and good globally recognised certification in the field of your interest... Or any generic subject if relevant to your field like maths physics etc...

Is ilets required along with german language And Can you please tell some good private universities that offer english course. How good Srh university and Srm universities are?
For German language course which need C1 level German, IELTS is not needed... For hybrid course with some part in English - IELTS is needed...
I prefer public uni more over private. In German, people respect public uni more generally. But few private unis are also good, which have national accreditation and good global accreditation, but very few private unis have it...
You can check the alumni size of uni on LinkedIn and compare it with other targeted public to see how big their alumni network is in Germany...
Any private uni which select student easily, without proper filtration and test, probably might have low quality students and hence low quality of alumni network as well...
if you are going for english or german course....its mendatory for you becoz you will need it while appling for visa
Visa officer should be convinced that you have good English if your course in Germany is of English medium. Without IELTS visa is possible sometimes - but Visa officer need to ensure good quality of English of candidates -
This is possible via -
- Face to face interview in case of Bachelors... (sometimes telephonic interviews are also done)
- Good English score in 12th class or bachelors...
- Good score in bachelors overall if the medium of study was English...
But even after these Visa officer if not convinced may ask for IELTS separately...
So you always have option to give IELTS before appearing for Visa if you think there are high chance in your case that you won't be asked for IELTS, or to give IELTS before appearing for Visa instead, specially if you are on tight timeline and cannot afford to delay your Visa processing by 2-3 weeks...
Fintiba service is worst they don't reply
1st fintiba open my account in 2022, in 2023 i ask to reopen my account. They provide me link to transfer the amount, which i did. Now fintiba is saying that i have transferred the amount in by previous account which i opened in 2022 and amount should be reflect in the latest account
Now they provide me the link to transfer, its there mistake and now they are not replying
I also asked them to close the new account and provide me documents with the old one, so the said we have forwarded your case to sutor bank, so i reach sutor bank too personally, but they said they have nothing to do with it, fintiba will deal with

Hi Rajat, Consider this urgent, I I am arriving in Germany on my Masters student visa and my minor daughter has an appointment with the embassy next month. They want a blocked account for her and Kotak and ICICI have no clue how to open one for minor. Expatrio and Fintiba are also not entertaining Indian passport. Can you please help me understand the process to open a blocked account for a minor. I really need it at the earliest @AsliRajatSharma
Minors cannot have own bank accounts in Germany and they have to be accompanied by parent or guardians.
If I remember Fintiba used to offer blocked account for minors but if they are not offering and you don’t see any options then please call embassy and ask for minor blocked account provider. If embassy has such rule in place then they must also ensure that any such service provider exits. Else ask if you can add additional amount to your blocked account or have another blocked account on your name, and if that should be fine with them. Most like they should be ok with you opening 2nd blocked account on your name or doubling the amount in your existing blocked account. At the end they want that you have sufficient fund for 2 people.
