I'm shocked to see amount of trash on streets of Frankfurt and homeless as well, used to live in Nuremberg in early 1980's and traveled to Frankfurt and other cities but never saw anything like you have shown. Things have changed a lot since the reunification even though Germany is still one of the richest country in Europe, great video and thanks for bringing the memories back

My daughter spent 7 years in german school abroad at 15years age travelled to germany twice and she decided to move school. Real experience of youngsters drugging, smocking, drinking is very common. Freedom of sex, trash, rats, homeless, dog poop, cigarette butt's, urine smell, pick pocketers , far right groups, prostitution is legal and everywhere in Germany. She has decided not to study in Germany

I was also shocked when I visited Frankfurt Hauptbahnof the first time.Being the Financial capital of Germany ,I think this needs to be resolved. But other than this area ,Frankfurt is one of the best cities in Germany.Thank you for sharing this side of Frankfurt as it would be very helpful for students or professionals coming to Frankfurt.!

Not just the people at college or work place whom we meet regularly but in a general level at hotels, parks, shops, streets are they friendly or too reserved in their approach

Around 25 years back, I came to Austria to study at master's and Ph.D. level (Finance). Very often I come to Frankfurt. In recent years Frankfurt has got very ugly shape. But 25 years back it was much more neat and clean.

I'm German and I've been to the Bahnhofsviertel in Frankfurt, there are many drug addicts there who theoretically can become aggressive at any time, but most people won't hurt you, if you're just walking for a few minutes there...

Taksim square, istiklal street, Galata tower in Istanbul are touristic areas straight from one side to the other. But if one moves a little away on either side of istiklal street, you come across drug peddlers, bars,pimps,pros, night/erotic clubs etc. One should avoid staying in this area ....
so, which city to live for an indian with family ? frankfurt, berlin, hamburg, munich....or?

I was staying in frankfurt hostel in year 2009 which was just opposite frankfurt main station. Those days drugs on street was well under control .
I saw these near Berlin main Railway station. Even drug peddlars, addicts everywhere. They show only good things. But when it comes to India they show poverty, slums, cows etc. But allover Germany is a beautiful country
I was thry same place 3 hour coz my flight was then I go out with train and see this all place

favorite city...the Romenberg is the main attraction of that city.

The problem with homeless druggists is that they can be aggressive, unpredictable and usually also carry used needles. So be very careful with them, you don’t want those needles in your skin.
