Very original video. I love all that is made with their own hands. You are well done!
Wow! This is awesome thank you so much. I downloaded the tokomo fuse book (it has the same exact steps) but I couldn’t put the pieces together to actually make the box. It’s always better to see it being made in action.💝🎁🙏🏼(BTW I am now obsessed with making origami)
a trick : watch movies at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Albert Gannon Yup, have been using flixzone for months myself :)

why would you use white paper ?? it’s imposible to tell which side is which
Only the easy part, the single piece is white, the part that matters uses two colors
This would be much easier to follow if you used paper with a different colour on each side. Certainly not white paper which makes it hard to follow your folds.

Wow nice craft💕
Very beautiful. Will share with my grand daughter who is just getting into Origami. She will be making these for her school project. thank you!
Is it possible to make the sides of the box taller?
I should be possible. Normally, the first and second steps are folding the paper in half, then you fold the edge to the half giving a fourth. If instead of folding in half, you fold along about 3/5 and then fold to that 3/5 line giving about 3/10, then continue as normal. This will give you a taller box, but there are 2 notes; make sure that the new 'middle' you choose for the first sheet (in this example that would be 3/5) is consistent for all of the pieces, and additionally when you connect the pieces together at the end, the top will 'bow out' some. If you want to fix this it will require folding in the edges that sort of telescope together at the top in along their edges that all connect at the center. This might require some delicate eye-balling.
Hopefully that is understandable. I did this for the bottom part of the box because by making the bottom 'taller' it takes paper away from the width and the two pieces fit together better.
Wow you're so underrated. I appreciate the work you put into your videos!!
Thanks so much for your compliment Jade :)
any videos about Christmas presents for parents??
The tutorial is wonderful, thank you so much. Having worked out the size of the sheets of paper ( half the length of the sheet will be the length of one side of the box), I made a number this afternoon to use for the wrapping of souvenirs for friends from my holidays. Happy Days :-)

Absolutely love these and can't wait to make them. Do you use a slightly smaller size for the base so that the lids fit nicely on top?
+Gillian Davis They are all the same, 15 x 15cm Because it's modular so you can easily adjust the base to fit the lid :)
