Modular Origami Box Tutorial - Infinity Lid - Paper Kawaii

- Learn how to make a pretty modular origami box and lid. This version has a twisted look to it, the central pinwheel will be the paper's opposing colour. This is also the method to make the 'Twisted Rose' version. Made from 4 sheets of square paper, no glue required.
This is the next variation of my modular origami pinwheel box ( • Easy Modular Origami P... ).
If you already have a box from that tutorial, you can skip to 8:46 for the lid.
The box is made the same way as the first version, except it's actually easier to get the twists in place due to pre folding it a bit more.
For the lid, using paper with a different colour on the back and front makes the 'infinity' lid look really nice as the central pinwheel will be the opposing colour.
I would recommend using either crisp origami paper, thick paper, textured paper or thin card. Soft paper might not be work well for creating the twisted lid.
The Twisted Rose version is simply pulling out the sides of the inner pinwheel after it's completed. 🌹

Thicker paper: trim the paper you use for the box to be about 14.5 x 14.5 cm.
Paper size example: 15 x 15 cm
Final model size: 8 x 8 x 5.3 cm

I finished this box and it was amazing! While I was doing some of the exterior and interior folds I could hardly believe what I was doing. It's really nice to see a great tutorial and be able to follow it to completion.
To all this people that have just finished this first four seperate pieces and are now thinking: "hell, that was easy! I think I'll do a few." don't laugh to early because putting this stuff together drives you nuts. I'm speaking out of experiance.
Deliah Grace I can say from experience that putting them together becomes much easier the second, third, fourth time etc.
@@paperkawaii 😂I hope so, my first one doesn't really look like a box. Even after 30 minutes. But still thank you for making such tutorials. You really are good at this. I just have one more question: do you come up with some of youre origamis yourself?
I'm sure with a couple of tries, it will get much better! And yes, most of my content is my own designs, it will always say for sure in the description :)

Was ist das für eine Scheiße ich versuche das jetzt schon zum 20 mal und es klappt immer noch nicht ich versuche es beim zusammenfügen aber es klappt einfach nicht
Bei mir hat es zuerst auch nicht funktioniert aber letztendlich hab ichs auch mit meinen zwei linken Händen hin bekommen. Das einzige Problem ist das ich das Blatt der unteren box nicht zugeschnitten habe und jetzt passt der Deckel nicht drauf.😂😂
