Hi, I have a 2012 308SW which has an intermittent fault with the screen. It suddenly rolls continuously for a while then maybe returns to normal . If I tap the unit it will do this too. could it be a loose connection at the back of the unit.

I have this car, love it but my screen freezes sometimes, often over a bump...I can turn off the engine and the radio is still going! Sometimes it looks good and I can bluetooth or radio and then it all freezes

Hello, I need help. I also have the same car.
I took the radio and navigation out of the car and installed an Android multimedia system.
After removing the Radio Navigation system and installing the Android multimedia system, the engine warning lamp of the car started to come on.
That's exactly what it says on the control unit of the car: Radionavigation or Telematics box (RTx) : communication error
How can I Disable the original radio navigation system that I removed from the car. How can I turn off the engine warning light?
We are a repair shop. We fix these radios. We would not take the risk of replacing that radio with some inferior android substitute. You do need some help, but we cant help you, as this is not a repair. After all, the video shows that we are getting you to remove the radio so we can fix it for you. Those android radios are a nightmare. Good luck!
Hi! I am thinking of buying parts from another donor car and retrofitting it on my Pug (it doesnt have multimedia LCD). So, besides main unit and screen, i'll need the GPS Antenna and what else? And where is this antenna in the car? Thanks in advance.

Hi! Do you know a way of factory resetting this kind of radio- navigator? Mine is a rneg2 rt6. I've tried several button combinations with no luck. Maybe unplugging the battery is the way to go?

Unplugging the battery will do a basic reset, just like unplugging your computer at home. If there is an internal fault of the unit pulling the battery won't help. You can give it a go and see if it works for you
@@SupertechElectronics Thank you very much. I've had some random reboots of my navigator after updating some of my maps, which maybe is something "normal" to some extent. I just wanted to do a Factory Reset because I thought it would help to erase useless files or something, but, luckily enough, I haven't suffered more reboots in a while. I don't think I have an internal fault...or not yet at least, because apparently these navigators are very prone to fail with time, specially the sd. That' why i was looking and learning from your video indeed :)
