      You're welcome. Enjoy putting it together. A follow up video on the Gramophone will be up this coming Friday. Don't miss it. 😊

    è veramente un kit di mer......a si spacca facilmente,gli ingranaggi sono fragili e gli incastri non corrispondono

      Given that it's made mostly of thin pieces of wood I can understand that. I've had my shares of parts breaking and not fitting properly. These kits should be handled delicately, built slowly and with a bit a patience you'll eventually be surprised and very satisfied with what you've been able to achieve. Remember it's not a race to finish kits like these. It supposed to be your "me time". Your time to relax and "zone out" from the world. Take it slow, relax and enjoy the process of building. 😊

      If you decide to get it, I suggest you also get the Electric Refitting Pack to motorize the turntable. It'll be worth it. I posted an update on the channel if you haven't seen it: ua-cam.com/video/JJKzY7981UQ/v-deo.html
      Overall it's a cool little decor for the home office. The audio quality is not good but it's nice that you can play your records on them.

      Hi there. I'm not sure what part your referring to but all the parts needed should be in the box. If not, you could try contacting Robotime thru their web page (www.robotimeonline.com/pages/contact-us) or email them directly at service@robotime.com for your concerns. Lastly you could also try your local store where you purchased the item for assistance. Hope this helps. 😊

    I just finished building one of these and I'd like to pass on a few tips that helped me out quite a bit.....1) Buy some Super Glue! No if's, buts or maybes, you are going to break some parts sooner or later as some are very delicate and some simply do not fit where they are supposed too! 2) Be prepared to leave out a part or two here and there! When, in this vid, the guy is working on the Tone arm, I noticed that he left out 1 spacer at the bottom of the assembly....I had added all of mine and the tone arm would not sit properly...removed the spacer and it was AOK! 3) Be extremely careful when fitting the black "Cover" that fits on to the 3 black screws!! If you don't make dead sure that this is level you can get stuck halfway down and find it almost impossible to re raise it (Happened to me and it took me over an hour...using pliers....to get it back to the top and re seat it correctly) Finally, I play 45's on mine and the "Speed wheel that is marked as 33...the one in the instructions that is fitted.....actually plays 45's at the correct speed. Hope this helps someone out.....but I must say it's a great project to work on! Cheers, Doons

      Right on the money. I have Elmer's Glue extra strength on hand just in case.

      Could you possibly point what spacer it was he left out? I am having a difficult with the tone arm myself being that it is extremely loose feeling and when cranking the record the tone arm flies to the center immediately.

    • @doonsbury9656
      @doonsbury9656 Рік тому +1

      @@simplynova420 G'day Mate. I can't remember exactly what spacer it was, except to say this it was very near to or actually at the bottom of the tone arm. As for the tone arm flying to the center right away. back in the day when we used record players and this happened we used to tape a 5 cent (Sixpence back then! lol) piece to the tone arm to add a little extra weight to it and this used to solve the problem. Good luck & I hope the build turns out well for you mate! Cheers, Doons

    Great video; i'm considering getting this, but did you find a way for it go sound any better?

    • @outsidethetoybox
      @outsidethetoybox  Рік тому +2

      Afraid not. But if you maintain a certain speed while cranking it the sound gets somewhat better. Maybe if you change to a better quality speaker or find a way to motorize it, it might help.

    Can the wood be stained and sealed?

    • @outsidethetoybox
      @outsidethetoybox  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Peter. Some parts are made of really thin porous wood so there's the danger of it warping. I heard you can seal the wood by using very thin coats of shellac. Personally haven't tried it but I would recommend trying it first on the wooden frames used to hold the parts (remove the parts first).

    can't find anti-skid mat!! where do they put it in the box, do I need it? do you know where I can get one if I lost it?

    • @outsidethetoybox
      @outsidethetoybox  Рік тому +1

      Sorry to hear that. The skid mat is made of clear (silicone?) material so you may have overlooked it? I did, so you didn't see it in the video when I unboxed. Look through the parts again slowly. You could try contacting the store from were you purchased the item. They might have extra mats in stock. You could also try emailing robotime's customer service (service@robotime.com). It may take a little while for them to answer but they can guide you on what to do. I tried looking for a replacement mat at their official site (robotimeonline.com) but it wasn't listed. Good luck. Hope you find it.

    • @outsidethetoybox
      @outsidethetoybox  Рік тому

      Hi. Thanks for the sub. Don't make the mistake of ordering the Chinese version like I did. That is unless it's the Chinese version you're really planning to get. 😁 Aside from that there really isn't much to it. Instructions are straight forward so you can't go wrong. Be extra careful though with small parts as they can break easily (like mine did!).

      Mine took longer. When you include video taking into the equation, it took me about 5 days to finish it all. Yup, end result was indeed satisfying. Shame that the speaker didn't sound that good.

    • @outsidethetoybox
      @outsidethetoybox  Рік тому

      Hello. The I34 has holes that goes into the pegs of B23 which may be a little bit difficult to put in. Make sure the pegs go all the way through for a tight fit. If you pause the video at 12:09, you'll see that all the pegs are in. Hope it helps. 😊
