    Can you print with a different colour? Can you buy spare pads or make them yourself?

    • @buildingwiththeboys
      @buildingwiththeboys  5 місяців тому

      You can print with different colours and it takes standard size ink pads

    Bit late to the party but hi! I noticed the website or anywhere I can find never mentioned where to buy the refills for the ink pad and the paper (although paper it's just paper, I'm more concerned about the ink pad). The website says the ink pad has a auto-filling mechanism but I don't think that means it won't dry out or need a replacement......? Correct me if I'm wrong please! :)

      The ink pad comes out and has a sealed lid to prevent drying out , its a generic ink pad so any office or stationery store would have refills

    Hi Scott, great video!! There is a question I need to ask you. I received the Printing Press this Christmas and I have opened it today, I have seen that it requires "cells, wax and glue", that you need to prepare for yourself. My first language is not english so I was wondering what does "cells" means in this situation? Because in the Part list they include the wax and the glue is very common, but I can't spot what's cells...

    I just received mine and building along to this really helps me visually with the parts and instructions cheers. Favourite line 'now we have a spring loaded bear!' :D thanks so much for the vid

      Ha ! There a very few opportunities in life to declare ownership of a spring loaded bear so you have to grab them when you see them!

    What were the silicone gaskets used for? I didn’t see a P13.

    Wow! So glad UA-cam pointed me to this video! I just got one of these and was hesitating to get started. Now I feel more confident having watched you do it.

    Great build, Scott, very enjoyable. I built my first ROKR model the other day. It was Marble Parkour. It was a joy to build, although I did have a little trouble getting all the chutes to line up, but it was very enjoyable to buld.

    Hey I’m glad I’ve come across your video. I completed my first ROKR, the Luminous globe last week and now working on the solar system one. I would love to do the printing press one next. Thank you for sharing the build! 😊
