I just found your channel with this video popping into my feed. You got lots of great food here! I live in south FL, and we don't have Kroger-affiliated stores in this area, but I'm planning to move back to KS next year, and looking forward to shopping Kroger stores!
That's awesome! Yeah I guess Publix is really big down there. Do you like FL? We are talking about retiring there. I know it's getting crowded though. We already live where it's hot and humid summers so I don't think the heat will bother us.
FL is perfect for retirees!! Stay north of 'south FL', though. It's too crowded on the east coast of FL once you get south of Martin county. I moved here at age 35 (Miami for six years, then Port St Lucie since then), and love a lot of things about it. The only draw back is endless summer - I miss four seasons, especially during the holidays.@@dianasimplifies

LOL, that's why I moved to FL in 2000, but after about 20 years of endless summer, I'm ready for four seasons again. The grass is always greener on the other side, lol.@@dianasimplifies

Did you notice how high the canned veggies have gone up. Even Walmart raised their prices. Just sickening.

Hey Diana! Nice savings haul. I’m always interested in pricing. I don’t have a good reading on prices. Dan did all the shopping until about 2 years ago.
Kraft cheese slices freeze well. I buy the twin packs and freeze them. Thaw in the fridge. The berries will freeze nicely too. I think Kroger generally has more variety available in a lot of their products.
▫️Kraft Singles. WM has twin pack 32 slices for $7.37 [23¢ per slice). Kroger w/digital coupon has 16 slices for $3.99*2=$7.98 [24.9¢/slice]
▫️Butter. After years of using Land O Lakes - we discovered we like WM’s Great Value butter better.
▫️Marie Callenders. Never tried the dinners. I see WM has them for $3.48 each. They had 10 different meals. But, I don’t see the shrimp dinner you had. Dan likes the pot pies occasionally.
Yes our WM only has 4 varieties (or maybe it's 6...) of the MC dinners unless you want bowls and he won't eat the bowls lol. So I started getting them at Kroger when they are 2/$7 bc that is almost the same price. On the cheese I got 16 slices for $2.99 but prices vary by region. So it may be $3.99 at your stores. I think the sale was $3.99 and with the digital it was $2.99. Great idea on freezing the cheese. I usually freeze the bags of shredded cheese but I hadn't tried the slices. Oh and that is bad news on the butter. I love the kerrygold knock off at Aldi. It's grass fed from Irish cows, they have to grass feed something like 80% of the time there. So I pay a lot more for the butter but it is SO yellow and yummy. It tastes is a lot better than regular butter. Thx for your comment!! I've missed you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@dianasimplifies I’ll have to try Aldi’s kerrygold knock off. I’ve never been to an Aldi store. Our closest one is about 12 miles away. I have it on my errands list to check out.
@grogers511 the best thing about Aldi is once you learn the layout you can be in and out in 15 minutes if you need to. I love Aldi!!! Countryside creamery pure Irish butter is the kerrygold knock off. It's in a green package.
