I put one of these together yesterday and my wife loved it. Now my daughter wants one and I am sure my daughter-in-law will want one also. So I will go to Tractor supply today and pick up more horseshoes. Thanks a lot Barbie, LOL Really I ordered you horseshoe book after I saw this video. Lots of projects down the road. I like your style.
+Gary Alderman Thanks so very much for supporting my passion for art! I'm grateful you are enjoying the videos and the book!! Handmade gifts are the best!!😊
Looks great. Nice little project. i need to get myself a welding setup as have access to an endless supplies of shoes! Just ordered the book to get me started!
I love it. I made one of these a couple of weeks ago and now I discovered this video. Hah. Mine looks exactly like yours, paint and all, so I guess I did okay. Lol. I made mine with used horseshoes and stick welded it with 7018 with a few tacks done with 6010. Thanks for posting.
you are really kicking ass! Your subscribers are growing, your video quality and sound has become so pro! I remember your first few videos. You are rocking it! Congrats!
silver, I know , but after 3 heart attacks Im on a stricked budget now and 250,000$ in debt with hospital bills and only working 15 hrs a week. I would love to have it tho. but priorities first .
+Lynn Smale I’m all out of horseshoes right now but if you take a picture of that design you can go piece by piece and see what cuts you have to make. You totally got this Lynn!!
I tried a pumpkin with 7 shoes instead of 6. Set them 51 degrees apart instead of 60. A bit harder to set up, but magnets helped. Made a huge difference in appearance. Even-numbered stuff in nature is rare. Seven looks more natural. I already have 3 orders from family and friends.
Thanks for the great video and I'm sorry I'm so late to the party. One question I have for you is if you were hired to make 40 pumpkins, 8 1\2 shoes each, would you still free hand it or would you make some sort of jig to hold the shoes in place while you tack? And if so how would you go about making a jig like that? Asking for a friend😉. Thank you
Cool project, you need some welding magnets 45°/90° they are quite cheap and very useful for holding small pieces like that so you don't need to clamp it.... how's the dragon coming along ??? :D
+David Norris I use Rustolium in a rattlecan. Made for metal and it's stood the test of time on the pieces I've done. I overkill the finish and each piece ends up with three coats when I imagine one will do. 😊
painting is always a chore i hang it paint it, flip it over, paint it some more, flip, paint and still find places I miss. I'm on instagram @dropnloads I found purple pumpkin with black stem looks cool too
good stuff you're kicking ass
Love this!
Thank you kindly!!!
Like your new table...

Lol please tell your friend I would assembly line this. Do the first step to all 40 pumpkins then do the second step, ect. Happy welding! 🎃😘
You're very talented, I've been around a couple of women welders. Keep up the good work. What other welding processes do you do?
+Juan Garcia I MIG and TIG! Thanks for your support!💙👩🏭
Love It and definitely Love You...
+customprc lol awe shucks!😊
I start with the shoes end to end then after they are welded I tack them to the bench and add the other shoes one by one
How much do you sell the pumpkins for?

+Bojan Maksimovic I have some and you're right that would have been easier!! Thanks!
Bojan Maksimovic do they make 60°. That would be perfect for this piece.
I believe they do make magnets that have 60° inclination, they also make ones that you can sat an any angle... like a magnetic protractor.
+Bojan Maksimovic That would be a super handy tool!!💙👩🏭
How do get paint to stick to your projects? I am overkill guy and either mediablast or soak everything with brake cleaner before I paint anything
+David Norris I use Rustolium in a rattlecan. Made for metal and it's stood the test of time on the pieces I've done. I overkill the finish and each piece ends up with three coats when I imagine one will do. 😊
You seem to have an endless supply of horseshoes! :-)
+OnlyTheEd no but the tractor supply store does!
