One of my favourite scenes ever between Steph and Eric - I put it up on YT years ago because it was so good. Susan’s gape and “Wellllll…!” when Eric says they’re his children too is one of her single greatest reactions in the show’s history IMO, so so funny and on point 🤣🤣

Let's see... On Brooke's first day back, she's managed to fire/demote Ridge, demotivate her ex husband and ex sister in law to the point where they are resigned to feeling grateful they still have their jobs, has spent more time concerned about her boy toy and coming up with a cover for her pregnancy, and alienated loyal staff... OK.. Good CEO work there. Guaranteed non toxic work environment. 😐 I guess her reinstating the bedroom line is really the only thing she can actually do successfully.
You have to marvel at SF's delivery in this episode. The range of emotions she traverses. Initially, she's giving us guilt, remorse, submission... then she goes into being the head matriarch that we all know and love. The way she says "She fired my son?!". Brilliant.
Very well put Emkay. Susan Flannery is such a brilliant actor that she can suggest a range of emotions in a single scene just with her vocal delivery. It's like how a great singer tells a story in a song with their vocal modulations. Susan is the Aretha of this show.
