In this edition of the True Power series, we're going to take a very in depth look at the true power of Sakura Haruno, while also hopefully debunking some of the misinformation being spread about the character, and hopefully providing enough information to answer the question: Is Sakura Kage level?

Sakura is definitely the strongest kunoichi of Boruto era and strongest kunoichi in Konoha.
The problem is in Naruto she got teamed up with two demigod reincarnated one Uchiha prodigy who has power to change reality and other being chakra monster.
Due to which people think she is weak. And people still claim she is useless. Which she is not especially in Boruto

The problem stems from Kishimoto's inability to properly develop female characters in a manner that benefits the story.
Sakura had incredible potential from the beginning, largely due to her affinity for genjutsu. But Kishi just threw all of that aside and decided to just make her a near carbon copy of Tsunade.

Aniruddh Fulsundar not to mention her mentor cut a lightning bolt in half when he was near exhausted. He also graduated the Academy at the age of five and became a Jonin by the time he was roughly 12 or 13. With teammates in a mentor like that, no wonder people say she’s weak. They carried her team all the way through part one and a good chunk of part two.
I can’t believe her strength and ability is even still argued about. She has definitely surpassed Tsunade. No question or doubt about it.

Sakura is hands down the strongest kunoichi in Konoha. Definitely the next Kage material.
The only reason why people say otherwise is for the sake of hating, and because she's being compared to her teammates who are like gods now. I wish her fight with Kido had got animated. I believe that would've amazed a lot of people of her growth because that is possibly the greatest fight she ever had

All the og team 7 except Sai cannot control their emotions she does have leadership qualities she was shizune second in the healing department during the war and owns mental hospitals she helps people Sakura is a leader. Offcause Sakura isn't as influential as the kages but she is pretty influential in the Ninja world being the younger tsunade and because of what she did during her novel.

You all need to know this, by the time of Sasuke Retsuden novel, Sakura has already developed two unique jutsus of her own. The first one, while searching for traps in a room Sakura allowed her chakra to run across the wall of the building to understand its structure. She founds a secret room and it was powerful enough to allow her to feel rooms 5 floors above her head. The author explains that is only possible for her thanks to her advance chakra control. The second Jutsu is a sealing one that affects a persons joints making them unable to move. She places a sealing mark on a man without him realizing and chapters later when he tries to kill her, she leads him to step right on the sealing tag that activated the jutsu frustrating his intentions. Sakura planned ahead and succeded. There are a lot more feats to her in this novel as well as there is for Sasuke. I quite recomend you all to read it. Wont be disapointed.

The amount of sakura love in the comments section is so overwhelming. There used to be a time not too long ago when sakura HATE used to flood every forum. She is definitely underrated, ultimately HUMAN and persevered every circumstance to become to strongest kunoichi in naruto verse and ended up surpassing her own sensei Tsunade; the woman stated to be the most powerful kunoichi many times.
Adult Sakura happens to be the most qualified at this point to take over the Hokage’s position if anything were to happen to Naruto. And I am not even stretching.

Yeah she only used the lightning release but never displayed any after that so nobody mentions any of her elemental jutsu unless she has used them. And Sakura performed a water jutsu when she was saving kankarou but guess what nobody ever said she knows any other jutsu even Hinata she is a master of the gentle fist but nobody said she knows all the jutsu cause you can be a master without mastering everything like Aang

Sakura saved naruto atleast 12 times
1 - She rescues him from Zabuza’s assassination attack
2 - She protects his unconscious body in the forest of death from 4 sound ninjas
3 - She heals him from near death after he goes four tails mode vs Orochimaru
4 - Although it’s not directly him, she saves Hinata, which helps him regain his composure fighting Pein. Hinata would have been rescued anyway if she’d died there, but not if Naruto were too blinded with rage or grief or guilt over Hinata being dead to defeat Nagato in the first place.
5 - She heals him from the poison on the kunai Sasuke’s holding (though it’s the one Sasuke stole from her, she’s still the one that keeps Naruto from dying from it)
6 - She heals his injuries and replenishes Naruto’s chakra multiple times during the shinobi war, something like four times?
7 - She keeps Naruto alive long enough for Obito to put some bijuu back into Naruto after Madara steals the nine tails from him, which would have killed him nigh-instantly without her.
8 - Because she goes off to rescue Sasuke, Naruto doesn’t need to be distracted trying to bring Sasuke back, and also because she does rescue him this allows them to team up and prevents Naruto’s inevitable death
9 - Punching Kaguya over the head prevented her from escaping their last-ditch plan, allowing them to win and rescuing them from any counter attack she had planned.
10 - She prevents him from bleeding to death by healing his arm (and also likely restores some of his very depleted chakra) after his fight with Sasuke
11 - During The Last, she spends three days refilling his chakra from almost absolute zero, both saving him and allowing him to save the world.
12 - When Shin got the drop on Naruto and Sasuke who were rusty and distracted, she dropped in and nearly killed Shin with one punch, rescuing both of them.
I may have missed something from the mangas and Definetly did not include anything from Boruto since i didn’t watch it yet

Both are canon (c-canon meaning that as long as the manga doesn't directly say otherwise it stays true and canon), so it's not something people can deny. It's also helpful to note that Kodachi (Boruto writer) has agreed with the content in those novels, further enforcing their credibility
Sakura has always been my favorite girl in Naruto, even when people hated her! Finally I see her loved and it makes me happy!!!!! Sakura is amazing, I wish I could see her more in Boruto, I miss her :(

Okay , let's just settle this real quick. I'm seeing Hinata VS Sakura , and Hinata would win. Absolutely wrong. Now I'm gonna put my hate aside for Hinata but Sakura would win in a heart beat. I think this video is pretty accurate in explaining Sakura's strength.
But some people are talking about Sakura vs Hinata (again). Swakage made a video and said he thinks Hinata wins, but I completely disagree. Instead of giving a whole speech I'll just give a few points
1) I dont see how Hinata would even be capable of killing Sakura. 100 Healings negates the effects of the Gentle Fist. Her only option would be to try to wait til Sakura exhausts her chakra, and I highly doubt she'd last long enough to see that.
2) Hinata clearly trumps Sakura is close hand to hand- if Sakura tried to fight her how she did Shin she'd probably struggle- but Sakura's launching speed is way beyond that of Hinata's. If Shin couldnt react from a front attack from Sakura with all of his sharingan in broad daylight, I seriously doubt Hinata has any chance of dodging a launching punch from Sakura. And she's certainly not tanking a punch from Sakura if Kaguya couldn't.
3) Swakage in his video said he doesnt see Katsuyu beating Hinata but I see it the other way around. Even if a giant Katsuyu is too big to hit Hinata, which I am honestly inclinded to believe, Sakura could also summon hundreds of tiny acid spitting slugs. If anything they would harass her to give Sakura the clear shot she needs.
4) My last point is simply put even if Hinata's power level does rival Sakura's, Sakura in all three series has been regarded as an above average strategist and Hinata simply has not. Intellect above anything else would certainly be Hinata's downfall. Plus, Sakura has shown to have a more diverse arsenal of attacks. She's always been one to cleverly use ninja tools, even in her fight against Shin she did not underestimate their usefullness. Hinata as far as I know seldom uses ninja tools, and relies purely on taijutsu and gentle fist techniques.
One last thing to say, Hinata also isnt listed in the databooks as one of the 5 strongest kunoichi. Sakura at the top, with Ino and Temari as mentions but no Hinata. In fact, I personally believe Tenten would be higher than Hinata on the list. Even Tenten defeated an akatsuki member. She can summon metal shields, use powerful jutsu from all 5 chakra natures, and even summon literal portions of the ocean. Hinata wouldn't even be the best kunoichi to go against Sakura. Best waifu hands down, but not the strongest ninja.

Let's not forget that in the shin arc That Naruto saskue and SAKURA were neferd LIKE CRAZY. So we still haven't seen the full extent of adult Sakuras ability. Also it seems she has an ability to make shockwaves with her chakra destroying things she didn't even touch as shown in the bourto movie. And there is a chance of the karma and 100 healing being connected, but even if there not connected the 100 healing could potentially still have more things to it because it dates back to the 6th paths which Sakura may already know and has masterd. Which would be insane if true.
There is no way sakura has learned the 6 paths. There are only 2 ways to use 6 paths. One is becomming the jinchuriki of the ten tails and the other is to be deemed worthy by hagoromo and being given the 6 paths. Both of which sakura hasnt achieved. The 100 healings has absolutely no connections with the 7 paths. It takes 3 years to charge and shortens the user's life. Not a jutsu she will be spamming

I disagree Sakura is definitely a genius I mean besides Shikamaru I don't know who would have a higher IQ then her and that was mentioned allot all throughout the series. Also it isn't about whether she can or cannot heal her self. It's about her simply activating her Byakugo which instantly deems her undamaged. I mean you can easily refer to Tsunade's fight against Madara "not saying she is stronger then him or that she would've won" but if she didn't waist so much chakura on healing the other Kages she would've definitely lasted longer in that fight. So just knowing that Sakura is stronger, faster, and smarter then Tsunade I think her win is inevitable. The real question is if Lee could hit her with something stronger then a tailed beast boom which according to the novel not only did Sakura survive it but she over powered it, and that was after her body sustained a stab similar to the one that killed the 4th Hokage. Almost every ninja in the ninja world would have some problem aginst him and his clan...fighting with millions of bugs that suck chacra vs a physical fighter with a lil bit of projectile jutsu wont do much unless its fire or ice. She has always been my number one since part one Naruto. I never once doubted her. Not only because of her physical power that have improved(immensely btw) but her strong mind, true will and pure heart is what lead her to where she is now. Her selflessness and eyeing her goals is what made me stick with her. I don't think Naruto and Sasuke would be where they are now if there isn't a Sakura that remind them to be who they really want to be. If there was no Sakura in between them, Sasuke/Naruto could have died in each others' arms playing hero/villain in their own beliefs... no more friendship or dreams or love, just hate and ego.

Yes, to Sakura getting some respect. While I do blame Kishi for not writing her well, the fact remains she is one of the strongest ninjas overall (not just in the Kunoichi category) alive in the Naruto/Boruto world. Also, I'm kind of enjoy (and feel sad) for Sakura haters who continue to say she isn't strong when freaking Kishi himself puts her at Naruto and Sasuke's level before they got their Sage of the Six Paths powerups. But no, the Sakura hate is too strong for some that facts (straight from the creator of the series) don't matter to them. I still have my fingers crossed the Sakura Hiden novel gets animated so more people can realize what a tremendous force (basically unkillable) she is. She fought a very powerful villain by herself. Maybe the new Sasuke/Sakura novel will be animated and she might have some good scenes in there.

What I think should of been the storyline for Sakura.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT. I wish she would of trained with kureni first. Learned ginjuste and she could of been the specialist. But then seeing Naruto and saskue get hurt and wanting to heal them she goes to tsunade for more taijustu and med nin training. Tsunade seening the POTIONAL takes her under her wing Then big reveal tsunade tells Sakura she thinks she got what it takes to learn 100 healing. ( This is needed so it doesn't seem like such a huge asspull revel in war arc). Time skip when they fought kakshi for the bells. Jayriya asks tsunade I thought she was a gin justue type. Tsunade replies that she is but can't really perfrom it because healing and super monster strength is already a huge strain on her body while she is learning her 100 healings. So I told her that she will have to slow down on her gin training for know till her Mark is complete. Tsunade continue s by say she really shouldn't be able to fight like she is know. Instert. How Sakura learned how to divert some chakra to use with out disrupting flow to seal. Goes on and says the girl will surely surpass me in coming time. Cut to Saskue part 2. Sakura and saskue have a lil gin battle. His impressed because even in a weaken state Sakura was keeping up with his eyes gin power.( Don't think this is much of an asspull since she is supposed to be a Prodigy) sakura leaveing feeling defeated wants to be stronger. Realizeing there is no why to use her gin to maximum use with seal. She runs to guy to up her taijustu more and learn summoning for tsunade. ( But can only summoin a small part of katsuyou) give her a couple of fights through series. War arc cones around seal is done and BOOM. Sakura displays her full power.
I think her storyline was fine until for a while by the time kakashi decided to train Naruto this should have happened is that
She gets angry at Naruto and especially at kakashi for not training her just like in the past and Ino helps her to calm down or something they meet kurenai who decides to train Sakura she doesn't fight the zombies and we find out from Ino is because she's been storing chakra for a while and sometimes she needs to take a break
In the pain arc she doesn't go to the hospital she finds her parents dead and goes on a rampage destroying summoning after summoning Ino and Hinata come in to calm Sakura down and Konan fights Sakura, Hinata and Ino at the same time but they still lose and before she kills them Pain calls her
During the 5 kage arc she knocks down Naruto and co with some knockout gas, there's no confession and Naruto doesn't try ask raikage to forgive Sasuke because that's stupid Sakura here actually fights a weakened Sasuke and is able to resist his genjutsu and hold her ground for a while impressing Sasuke when Naruto comes in to rescue Sakura, Sasuke gives her a chidori and leaves with Obito. As Sakura life slowly goes away black markings slowly begin to appear healing Sakura
Later own wards at the leaf Sakura knows she's weak and has to go train and improve herself where she goes to train with the slugs helping advance the seal of a hundred so it doesn't have drawbacks like aging you quickly and using slime jutsu, acid jutsu and using slugs to fight in combat like orochimaru does with snakes
katsuyu can’t be summoned without byakugou seal, it has a special connection

No matter what people say sakura is hella strong Af and not to be played with. Her fight with shin was awesome And her fight with Sasori. this is coming from someone who don't give Af about her.
How do people hate Sakura more than they hate Sauske. He literally tried to kill EVERYBODY. He dead ass wasn't tryna help with the whole war until the whole Itachi/Kabuto thing. He ain't never around to see his kid or his wife. The levels of toxic are on a whole other level.

Looks cooler on screen than crying but the main critique of Sakura from people who really hate her is she was toxic but the same folk talking bout she was toxic love Sauske who, again, tried to kill everybody.
Plus, you're really minimizing the fact that they grew up together. He wasn't just her crush, he was her first crush. They were part of team 7 together. Naruto spent the whole damn show tryna get Sauske to go home and everyone just acts like that shit is cool. Sakura does it and all of sudden she crying over a guy she thought was cute?

@@SD-wj9bv Bruh, I think I made it perfectly clear in my previous comment that the relationship between Sauske and Sakura was not a simple "he's cute so I'm gonna cry over him" relationship. They grew up together. They were part of Team 7 together. Saying they didn't talk romantically doesn't really matter. They were, at one point, really good friends and relied on each other so its natural that Sakura would feel some type of way when he started going loco. Even if you just wanna say they were childhood friends, thats still a reason to feel some type of way.
Naruto spent the entire series doing the same fucking thing as Sakura did. The relationship was obviously deeper than romance in both cases.

Honestly, she's right with Naruto and Sasuke when they're not in sage mode and I think she would be able to survive certain fights better than they would. Seriously, there are not many people who could fight toe to toe with powerful opponents like her and heal themselves at the same time. That's rare and very useful. She's my favorite character and it makes me sad because I know we're likely not going to see her true potential in battle ever shown, and not just in a novel, because it's always Naruto and Sasuke getting the limelight. And if she does have a moment, I feel like it would be overshadowed by Naruto and Sasuke again, because that's what always happens unfortunately.

Hands down Sakura is arguably the 3rd strongest character behind Naruto and Sasuke (3rd place can be argued between Rock Lee). The fact that she was a bad written character doesn't mean she is weak, she WAS weak. But right now, she's on Kage level.
