Can I just say that your projects are awesome and the way you present them is equally so. No long and drawn out introductions, no making us watch you doing repetitious steps and no music. I don't like having to fast forward to get to the actual making of the project. I have watched many many videos and I must say you are the best at doing them. Oh and the funny little things you sometimes say makes me smile and with what's going on right now it's hard to find something to smile about. Thanks Amber.
Girl I was buying mesh at Walmart and a lady stopped me and asked if I made wreaths so I told her I dabbled she asked if I would make her one.. I did and I sold it to her for 28. That was almost a 20.00 profit..... Thank you for the extra push and ideas. You my friend are so special.
Wow..Amber ...that is fabulous. You come up with the most interesting, creative and F U N ideas...And your personality is so warm! This Brooklyn Girl can, too....;-)
This is amazing u have the best ideals I just can't get enough of your channel. I'm so glad I found you I love that your crafts are reasonable in price to do and look so awesome I can't wait to do this ♡♡ I would love to see u do your nails too like this I so love it your so creative. Can't wait to see more videos.
Omigosh! I love it! So quick and easy. Could I go over w with mod podge instead of the sealant? Thank you for sharing. I would love to see how you do your nails sometime lol 💅
I just found your youtube channel. This technique is amazing! It is much less expensive than using acrylic pouring and looks beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I live in the California desert. It gets REALLY hot in the summer. Do you think the pots will hold up outside in the summer? Rustolium makes a clear gloss spray I can use afterwards. Can't wait to use up my old nail polish. Thanks again
Awesome, as usual. You're very creative, so I'm sure you've tried many versions of this. If you want to have a matte finish like the regular terra cotta pots, does a matte white base coat affect the way the nail polish adheres to the pots? Tfs!
So I decided to try this for a gift idea for mothers day. It was so easy and loved it! My only question is some nail polish got on the inside of the pot. Is that going to be harmful to the plants I put in the pot???
Fantastic Amber. Marbling all the rage in UK at moment. Thinking about doing some black and white ones. Would I get the marbled effect if I just use black in the water ??
If you do just black, it will coat the entire pot and look gray. To be on the safe side, use some white nail polish in the water too. That will give the black something to swirl around with, and will give a marbled look. :D
Hey Amber I’m going to try black and white pots...would you spray the pot white and dip in black or vice versa...my kitchen is black and white so I think it would look cool 😍
That would look awesome! I would paint the pot white. For the nail polish, I would use black and white. The black needs some other color to 'swirl around' with. If you dip it just with black polish, it will turn the whole thing gray.
This is so cool! Would make great gifts!❤ I just love your channel, girlie...you do so many different kinds of things. You help me spread my wings and try new things. Thank you so much for what you do! Is there a place I can send you happy mail to?
Yes, you need to add more polish for each pot that you do, and change the water for the next one. Just to make sure that no stray bits of polish would get on the next one.
Hie... I tried it today... after dripping the nail paint in water. I used a toothpick to swirl it. But while doing that the whole colour started sticking around it, and became a mess. What should be the problem?

It won't affect how it adheres at all. :) You can definitely use a matte base coat.
This Southern Girl Can Thanks!
Should we change the water if we are gonna between colors? This looks so fun i think i will try with my kids! Tfs
wow....
Great vid, thanks! Will this method work for simple clear plastic pots?
I am pretty sure it would
wow awesome idea. but what do ya do with the water & polish when finished? how do ya dispose of it??
So I decided to try this for a gift idea for mothers day. It was so easy and loved it! My only question is some nail polish got on the inside of the pot. Is that going to be harmful to the plants I put in the pot???
It actually will not be harmful to the plants, but if you want, you can take an emery board or a little scrap of sandpaper and sand it off
Fantastic Amber. Marbling all the rage in UK at moment. Thinking about doing some black and white ones. Would I get the marbled effect if I just use black in the water ??

Thank you so much for the kind words! My mailing address is in the description box, all the way down at the bottom. :D
If doing a second one, looks like need to add more polish. 8f doing different colors do you have to use completely new water?
Yes, you need to add more polish for each pot that you do, and change the water for the next one. Just to make sure that no stray bits of polish would get on the next one.
Great. I have got my nails polished some 15 years ago. Can I just use the pot without the white paint? It's expensive In Australia for spray paint.
You sure can. The white just makes the colors stand out more.
warm or cold water, what do u think is best
Is it possible to use even bigger pots? :)
AAAAnd, where do you put the water after you're done?
Can i do it on my diy cement pots too?? 🤔🙂 Thanks..
I would think that would work just fine.
Mam u hv used white spray primer. Can we use primer that we get paint shop normal primer, will it work? Really I am very curious to work on it .
can you let it dry on wax paper?
Too funny I was thinking about the same thing tod
Can you use plastic or metal bowl?
Hie... I tried it today... after dripping the nail paint in water. I used a toothpick to swirl it. But while doing that the whole colour started sticking around it, and became a mess. What should be the problem?
Do the nail polish stays forever? I mean it can be peel off or chip off right?
No, you won't be able to peel it off afterwards. It's on there lol.
Would this work with acrylic paint too?
I'm wondering the same
Can this be kept in open lawn??.... Will this paint do away when rains
It’s nail polish, not regular paint. So it will hold up just fine outside. If you want, you can also give it a coat of clear spray paint
Can you use a plastic bowl instead of glass? Thank you.
does the blow need to be glass or can u use plastic or maybe a cooking pot,
You can, it will just be difficult to clean.
Can we use.nail polish.on plastic containr
You can. I would make sure to put down a layer of white paint first though.
How can remove stains from the utensil which i used for this purpose..?
You can wipe it down with nail polish remover (acetone) then rinse it really well with water
Pardon my ignorance, must you paint the pot first?
By painting it first, it makes the colors of the swirled paint brighter. They will be very dull if you do not paint the pot white first.
What kind of paint can u use besides spray paint
Did you use hot or cold water?
Hey, can I use a wood primer as a base or an oil paint ?
I would not recommend those, as they may have a reaction with the polish. Acrylic does not seem to have a reaction and they adhere well.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan thanks a ton 😊
It's it's me Pauline I just found the video on how to do the nails so forget what I wrote thank you
It's ok! I'm glad you found it :D
U use cold water?
What does it look like on the inside
Hello, does this method work with Concrete?
Can we use plastic bowl to put the water on
Yes. You can do that
What kind of paint can. U use in place of spray paint
You can paint it with a few layers of regular acrylic paint.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan thank u everyone else seems to b able to buy very expensive things I on ss budget- love ur work& idead
warm or cold water
How long does it take to dry
Depending on the humidity, it does not take too long. Just to be sure, I would let it dry overnight, but it should be fine after an hour or so
I just came across this tutorial. I just might have to give this a whirl...lol...
Were do you dump your used water?
Pour it down the sink.
