@@btsot7army642 She had some problems with her manager throughout the whole 2013, he overworked her for money, she broke her hip on tour, he didn't even visit her in the hospital, then he pretty much forced her to release ARTPOP in the 2nd part of 2013 (she wasn't even cleared from her injury) he left her in the middle of the promotion of her album, then she started being depressed and the media kept bringing her down, some of her fans started to leave her aswell, it was a really dark period for her, she was so sad in fact that she wanted to quit music, but then Tony came to her and he pretty much light up the fire and love for music in her again by releasing Cheek To Cheek, even now she says that he saved her back then.
and now Gaga is by his side doing what they love together 😢💗

@@misaamane476 Sadly, Alzheimer's eventually leads to pneumonia, which almost always kills the individual. That's the terrifying part.

I never cease to be deeply moved by the interaction of Lady Gaga and Tony. You can see genuine respect and friendship and affection. She should stick with jazz as she's proven to be really good at it, just as Tony saw. So sad that Tony is no longer able to be in concert. RIP Tony 21 July 2023.

I love when Gaga sings this way with one of the legends of music. Not a fan of all her stuff but her talent and beauty shine in this track. Old school shows her off the best face to the world, wish she'd do more in this direction rather than the modern stuff.

Many have done a few jazz performances when they had the time away from the crowd. Only a few megastars from the past 40 years have taken the time to do full jazz albums and tours, and I have been fortunate to experience two such shows on the same stage, in fact one of those was the only GaGa concert I watched, while another was Phil Collins' big band tour.

Plus Tony has been diagnosed with Alzheimers for a few years now so it makes you wonder how affected by it he is… singing is usually the skill that dementia doesn’t affect, so maybe he is already showing pretty severe symptoms and that’s also why Gaga has teary eyes

There are a lot of reasons to love Lady Gaga (like her chameleon ability to sing ANY genre of music and sound like she's been doing it for decades) but I think one of the things I like about her most is the obvious respect and love she has for those who came before her. Her tribute to Julie Andrews at the Emmys a few years ago, and then these duets with Tony Bennett, where you can see those emotions written all over her face. Love them together.

This is so beautiful. Its really hard to imagine Gaga collaborating with Tony but they did it (yet again). Im so happy and fortunate to be a fan of both of them. Its a bittersweet feeling knowing this is the last album from Tony.

The more I watch this Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's Grammy nominated MV, the more I understand the emotional power it holds! Tony, a music legend performing possibly one of his last records, and Gaga, a new generation unparalleled superstar giving support to him, speak so much of compassion, sincerity, and love! This MV goes beyond visuals but roots deep to the heart.
And even the visuals? It's top tier! The way the camera moves, the framing attention given to how they interact, the lighting, the pacing...
This is so underrated because people don’t know what Art is.
It's more performance than art. The old written music and lyrics leave our duo with just a few choices in how the phrase the singing from one duo to the next. Still, doing it well takes musical talent, and having beautiful voices adds further to the rarity of this performance. Other duos could do similarly well, if only they had the fame to attract an audience.

MY mom is 85 suffering with Dementia you put this tune or any jazz on she knows it all!!!! Music is magic! I just bought CD to take to her in Ireland she and I will jazz away to all her good memories of her childhood and younger days if this will place a smile on her face it will be like giving me a million bucks! Almost have my money saved for a ticket to fly there r=to be with her

I feel like she looks and treats him like family, that is so precious. It hurts to know his condition, and that he is aware of it and the pain I saw in his eyes here once or twice - but he is such a legend and a beautiful soul. It's so sad but he had such a long and impactful career. Still forever moved by his work with Amy Winehouse and will never forget that. Ugh. Love him.
