This is why playing in Historic has been so much fun lately (I mean for for my jank)... all the ruthless players went to Timeless.
I don't own any banned cards :( I'm not sure if timeless is here to stay .
Is this really the case? Are there people now in historic that play magic for fun? Would be worth it to come back.

I do greatly appreciate Chris calling Uro slow and basically bad, because he's so used to playing combo decks that both win on turn 2-4, and lose to a single card that interacts with his board. His decks are usually glass cannons lol.
If oppo can't kill him by turn 4 in this format, my money's on Chris even with glass shards in his palms 🤣

Timeless is really Chris' new favorite game mode. It's made for jank
Even more so, Chris loves breaking magic, and nothing breaks magic better than cards that are so good, they're banned in most formats. Truly made for the Dark Lord.

Agent of Treachery is legal in every format but Historic, including Explorer, which is Arena's version of Pioneer. It says it's not legal in Brawl and Artisan either, but since Brawl uses Standard-legal cards only and Artisan uses commons and uncommons only, it isn't even printed in those.
I forgot this card exist and how much fun it is! It has been so long since it has been legal.
I am a long time subscriber and enjoy your videos. Both as entertainment in general and for fun deck ideas. Can I ask a question, though? Is there a particular reason you don't post decklists anymore? Not to say I cannot figure it out from when its on the screen in the editor but it would be nice to have a link for buying or building purposes.

Would agent of treachery be too powerful if they brought him to brawl? I feel like he wouldnt be.
I played AoT in historic brawl when it was legal. It was busted. Too easy to get into play early and to copy or flicker to just steal so much.
Gyaruda and Thassa Decks abused the absolute hell out of it. Trust us. You don't want AoT back 😅
I guess that's true, especially since it can steal lands. Rusko decks would also abuse it, and they are bad enough on their own.

Would a copy or two of Yorion in the deck be good? Ghalta to put in multiple agents and Yorion to reuse the agents?
Nobody stays after the first agent, you're just making the deck worse for no reason
@@metalhev3989 the deck is pretty janky and terrible as is. One or two Yorions instead of Sundering Titan to really go over the top with the land destruction.
Note: I’m not suggesting using Yorion as companion. Yorion is a terrible companion for combo decks.
@@kylejohnson4662 There's a reason why Chris has on many occasions said "this deck is actually good, is just me?" lol. Chris knows the world he plays in, and he's as shocked as we are when he makes a consistent deck. Though usually they still will lose to a single counter spell or removal, but if they don't have it, in the words of Chris "sometimes they just don't have it", and he's able to pop off
