Driving in Spain: Autopista AP9 E1 from Vigo to Santiago de Compostella

In this video you can ride along on Autopista AP9 E1 from Vigo to Santiago de Compostella in the Northwest of Spain. This Autopista is partly tolled and a faster alternative between both cities and in the direction of a Coruña.
The Northwest of Spain is known for its rugged and green landscapes with sometimes surprisingly high mountains. It's not as popular with tourists as the country's South mainly because the weather is a bit less predictable and it doesn't draw a lot of beach tourism.
Santiago de Compostella is a famous religious destination with a beautiful cathedral in the heart of its old historical center. I visited the city for the first time and it did not disappoint. Distance driven in this video is approximately 80-90 kilometers.
