Where would the world be without the humble ANVIL?! Nobody does a History Channel special on “Anvils” .. but they sure helped shape history.. Pun intended, but seriously Anvils get no respect.. Love the videos 🙏🏻
Fantastic work, love the shape! I have a Bowie, unfortunately i do not have the skills like you, but love to handle it love watching your work!nice one
The best one I seen in my life. If you would had made the handle longer it would had been two in one ... sword and Bowie knife...it needed the cutting spikes on top of the end of it.
FANTASTIC!!! You sir are a master of your craft. I also like that you made out of a leaf spring. That's what I call a forever weapon. I want one. How do I go about it? Impressive workmanship.
You are the first person I have watched on you tube , that used a wedge die to form your bevel. it is the best way to get the perfect bevel every time. Great job!
my friend, I'm starting now in the cutlery branch, but I simply love your work, the affection and perfection of your works, congratulations for the great work and if you can present me with a piece of yours I'd be flattered, I'm your number one fan !!
I LOVED THE GIGANT D GUARD BOWIE, EXCELENT CRAFTMENSHIP, BUT WILL YOU MAKE A SHEATH FOR IT? IT LOOKS KIND OF DANGEROUS OUT IN THE OPEN. THIS IS A CRAFT THAT I MYSELF WOULD LIKE HAVE AS A HOBBY. NICE WORK.
First class work as always, but way too thick and heavy to be of any practical use. Halve that blade thickness and we might be getting something usable.
@@fireman66767 It's not the size that's the problem. It's the thickness and weight. Way too thick of a spine for a real weapon. Bowie knives (even the 19" D-Guard) didn't have spines that thick. They were thinner, very stabby and FAST. This just looks like a giant heavy chunk of metal. Pretty as a display piece, but too heavy for a fighting knife.
Excellent work as always ! can you let us know what was the process used to make the steel aquire the blueish patina in the end of the video ? Thanks !
It's always gratifying to watch a master craftsman at work, and you, sir, are a master. Bravo!
That is a work of art. The handle is gorgeous. Well done.
Ah man you make the most beautiful pieces of art. I still want one. Anyone. Rock on.
This has quickly become my favourite smithing channel.
This one is my favorite. Absolutely STUNNING
الجميل والملفت للنظر أنك تعمل بصمت وبطريقة سلسة دون أن ترهق نفسك أو فكرك بمعنى أدق أنت ماهر وبارع في عملك🤗💐
The way he blends different materials into one is just perfect.
good master wish you all the happiness of this world, greetings from Canada

anvils are only respected buy there maker's and there user's.
That jig to press forge in the bevels is genius, I would never have thought of that.
Wow!...now there's what you call a blade. Great work Mr.
यह सचमुच ही बहुत सुन्दर, धन्यवाद श्रीमान

I loved every minute of this.
BEAUTIFUL WORKMANSHIP!! HOW MUCH DOES THIS WEIGH?? LOOKS LIKE ITS A HALF INCH THICK BLADE!!
In spanish: hermoso trabajo para el cuchillo Bowie con guardapuño! Saludos de Villa Luzuriaga, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Shaq, your knife is ready. (Fantastic work, as always.)
Freerk you are my greatest inspiration my dude. I strive to become a quarter of the master as yourself. Never stop doing what you're doing, please.
Goodness that is a huge bowie! Awesome work as always.
The best one I seen in my life. If you would had made the handle longer it would had been two in one ... sword and Bowie knife...it needed the cutting spikes on top of the end of it.
Beautiful piece
Thanks for video
Again a amazing job.so Nice!!!👏👌
Very very nice work
That's not a knife, that's a sword with the power of a huge axe! :()
I really missed some testing in the end. I bet it would chop wood like butter! Very impressive work!
FANTASTIC!!!
You sir are a master of your craft. I also like that you made out of a leaf spring. That's what I call a forever weapon. I want one. How do I go about it?
Impressive workmanship.
It's too thick for a Bowie. Even a D-Guard Bowie. Not fast enough.
Espectacular, una obra de arte. Congratulaciones "Maestro "
Looks great- I’d heat treat and temper after grinding though as you can leave soft spots heating the steel up too much that way.
i absotively love your workshop... love your work as well excellent as usual.

Why did you make it so large? It doesn't look like it can be used due size.
The design is great! I want to make one probably 1/3 the size.
I assume you are 5' 9'" bout 150 lbs wet with a pocket full of change ? lol
@@fireman66767
5'9" Is exact.
I only wish I was 150lbs again.
@@OKBushcraft LMAO!!! Dont we all

is there any competition of the kind: "who owns the biggest one"? How many kilos does it weight?
great job, by the way :)
@Matthew M ok, ok, I see... but I was talking about the blade and nothing else ^_^
That's a cutlass, not a Bowie. It's a beauty.
Always a surprise in store ...
You make giants very happy! :)
Man, that is sweet. Hulk, your knife is ready! I certainly wouldn't want to meet the guy that could use that thing properly. Its a beauty though.
Soooooo stylized. So beautiful. How many days did you spent on this ?
Now that is what you call a knife.
Wow Massive!!! Fantastic!!!
That's not a Knife That is a Machete !
IT'S A KNIFE, A MACHETE AND A SWORD
Why does this video max out at 480p? All your other videos I've seen, including ones older than this one, max out at 1080p.
Very good job
It looks nice, but how much dors it weigh? It looks kinda overbuilt
Wonderful work brother
thats one beefy boy
La verdad es un maestro pero en Argentina comprar herramientas de trabajo cuestan una fortuna es usted un maestro
Good to se Crafmanship still remains!! That's a BEAST Hell of a job!!
Very nice
that must be for the Rock and he must be going on a Jurassic park vacation : )
Nice work. I would definitely hate to be on the receiving end of that knife.
Wow that looks more like a short sword than a knife but still cool.
Excellent joooob sir
Can we buy this??
It's a beautiful piece of work, but yikes, it's big. Like, not just the length, the dimensions make it seem like a knife meant for giants.
Маэстро своего дела! Браво!
Incredible! How much does this big knife weigh?
Fantastic work excellent finish ! How many kilos is it?
Looks like a 40k space marine knife. 👌🏻
Who’s hands do you make these for!?? They are always so massive and bulky
Where the hell can I buy one of these or anything from you ?!?!?!?
Can I have one???? I love your work. The blades you make are always so nice.
Quel artiste bravo super
Great work Sir, patients is your virtue ....
... the handle part looks in heavier proportion... I mean load distribution ...
Excellent work as always ! can you let us know what was the process used to make the steel aquire the blueish patina in the end of the video ? Thanks !
A master piece in steel
Nice
Bom trabalho parabéns queria uma dessas pra min de verdade....

Thank you sir for your efforts
Juste magnifique 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
I very like this one It's so beautiful! How much ?
Very good amazing bro... How much is the Price of this
Wow amazing how to buy
It looks beautiful, but i feel like you would have to thin it out quite a bit to make it practical.
Very nice! How much would it cost ?
What does this man have against tongs? It seems using them would be a lot easier than lugging around all that extra iron around.
Awesome blade.
Master❤
I love what you do.. I was just wondering if you would be interested in making Viking axes👌👌👌👍
культура веса? не не слышал.!!! лайкос за старание и прилежание.
