Wife got me some sort of super camo that’s waterproof and breathes and a compass. Funny how you forget how much you use a compass when it’s in your pocket. And she packed me a lunch. That’s something I never realized was so awesome that made a huge difference.
Hey, do you know anybody that might know something about a antique gun from 1903 that I can’t identify and no one seems to be able to in my state even the 500 gunsmiths? You can reach out to me anyway, but I appreciate your time, sir.
Dude, did the same with the sleeping bag this year. Absolutely life changing. Sleep like a baby. How many terrible nights I’ve had I never should have waited this long
Great stuff, Josh! I also made the switch to the same type of sleeping bag, and I agree that it's much more comfortable, especially in cold weather. I also noticed that you have Roosevelt's "The Man In The Arena" up in the background--that's one of my all-time favorites!👊
This year, my new product that worked very well for me was some gloves that had a waterproof membrane to them. I sometimes walk in after rains, during rains, snow, marsh and my gloves would be wet and hands cold by time i got to my stand. But now, they are dry, should of done that along time ago. Once i'm setup, i switch to a really thin glove to use inside my muff.
@@stanhunt8543 Somehow my family found these gloves and graciously bought these for me, they said they got them on sale for around $70, pretty pricey. They have been really nice though, Kuiu Yukon Pro gloves.
Thank you for sharing the items you find useful in hunting and filming. My go to's this year were my cheap XOP saddle/platform, 3 Muddy Pro Sticks with aiders, OnX, a simple silicone covered wire (1000 uses), a small battery to charge my phone in all day hunts and the Tooth of the Arrow 150 grain broadheads. A winning combination to set up on fresh sign and kill. I used the slap strap this year. I loved the concept and conceptually it worked in a very compact/easy-to-use way but was not happy with its durability. Cheap material on the strap that is fraying and horrible zippers. I would love it if they came out with an industrial-use version of the slap strap. Its so much easier than conventional pouches, ropes, etc in the salldle hunting world today. I purchased Latitude carbon sticks and aiders on a Black Friday deal and looking forward to putting them to the test next year.
Josh, the link you provided for the blue tooth phone tripod isn't the one you're showing. Yours is mini.... the link goes to one that's over 5 feet tall??
No offense, but dudes making fun of people on the internet behind a fake username is 10x worse than filming your hunts...find something more productive to do with your energy
The DJI action cams are so much more user friendly. I switched this year as well. Solid recommendations here.

Ur recommendation on the heated vest was a game changer, thanks josh
A heated vest is a MUST if you are anywhere that gets under 40°
Laughs in -40. Yes, 80 degrees colder than 40.
Really like all your videos God bless

I think it extends to 5ft and folds up smaller
👍
