Had one with a souped up 454 but it wasn't as nice as this one but it was a pretty almost restored yellow with black stripes.. This one is amazing! Thanks Scottie
I've owned two El Caminos before a 69' and a 72' El camino but the 70' El Camino is the best one I've seen. The El Camino to me is the best muscle car of all the muscle cars I've seen.
I had a friend that we worked in a factory and he would pick me in the morning in this same model year El Camino. He took good care of it and never hit the pedal to floor. Wish he did at least once!
Very very nice car/pickup that's crazy how long ago it's was done and still looks new i remember back in the day my cousin best friend had it was maroon with white stripes factory 454 4 speed car just don't see very many of them anymore but very nice Scottie keepem come my friend.
That's always been one of the cars I wanted I'll be getting a warm soon keep up the good work brother one of you good friends even though you don't know me so I'm going to need good friends bro
Wow! Such a beautiful El Camino. I have always wanted a 70 Chevelle and I want a truck.. Hehe. The perfect vehicle for me. Also in my dream world my Chevelle would be green with white stripes just like this El Camino is. What an amazing vehicle. Thanks for sharing Scottie. Take care
Musclecar in the front, pick em’ up truck in the back and still looks sharp. I always liked these El Caminos and their Ford counterparts the Ranchero. During the halcyon days of my youth one of my buddies had a yellow’72 Ranchero with a 429, jacked way up in the back on super wide tires. It looked and sounded spectacular. Nice coverage Scottie. See ya’. 🏆👀
Scottie thank you I owned a 65 ELCAMINO had a 283 stroked 4 speed would lay down rubber as long as you wanted. There is one of these with a 396 in Bitteford Maine
I remember these on the showroom floor. My brother bought a new, 71 SS 454 El Camino. These were built on the station wagon (same chassis) assembly line. Chevelle fenders do not fit an El Camino from 70-72. Look at the tag on the driver's side fire wall. If it has BAL in it, the car was built in Baltimore, KAN is Kansas. My father worked at the Baltimore plant from 63-93.
@@ScottieDTV always loved craiger ss rims from the 70s 60s on the back 70s up front for any muscle car I know chrome don't get you home and in the rain the elcamino rear end would break loose with ease but man I loved that car so much I got it tattooed driving off in the sunset
Isn't it funny how you never dream the things you grow up with are going to be collectable someday? Thank you sir.
If I had known....You're welcome Brother!

@@ScottieDTV we always called that style keystones seen a lot on chevy and Buick are they the same rims or different
What a waste having a vehicle like that and not driving it what is the point.
Thanks for checking it out!
