PLEASE do "Dreams of an absolution" (Silver's theme from Sonic 06), so I can die in peace...
Imagine if this was the kind of song we have for a final boss? Like, if there's a big 'go out with a bang' final game and it has your typical epic final theme for the first phase, but the second one, the sound becomes minimal/mute and then this plays in the back as you face off against the boss, the slow song contrasting the dangerous situation but still making you realize this is it, the end of the journey. In terms of how it'd feel, I'd say it's be like the final fight in My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and Digimon Final Evolution. Perhaps Sonic and Tails are both super as they face this final threat, this song playing as they reminisce on this final adventure and those prior in this battle.

You know, a couple years ago I was going through a rough patch mental health wise when this released. This song honestly helped me when I got depressed or anxious. I honestly have so much gratitude towards you Emi, and the Sonic series in general. This series will always hold a special place in my heart.

The first time I played sonic was back in 2008 on my cousins PS3. It was the Day Time stages of Sonic Unleashed. Ever since then I really liked playing his games. Then I played SA2 in 2010. The soundtrack was so great and still is to me to this day. I appreciate this cover alot💙

I don't think the slow tempo works with a majority of these songs but alongside your Endless Possibility cover this one I think is just fantastic. I could see this being use as the Final story credits in a fan made up to date graphics overhaul of Sonic Adventue 2
I can easily imagine this being used for something like a Sonic season/series finale trailer (which would also be used for the sad/reflective moments scene in the last episode leading in a cliffhanger teaser if there is a next season.)

This great version of live and learn. I remember playing SA2 and seeing Shadow falling to earth. I was depressed about that and it was when I played the final boss of Shadow the hedgehog that the shadow you played throughout the game is the real Shadow. It made happy

I'm amazed that an iconic, blood pump and high energy song is elevated to a calming, peaceful and serene cover. The talent in this fandom never ceases to amazes me.
One of my favorite memories is being up way past my bed time.
I was fighting the biolizard and heard a click behind me but I got pulled into the air and stayed focused. I beat it with zero rings left and went into the final boss. I somehow managed to beat that boss on my first try and watched the ending cutscenes.
At the final farewell I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was my grandpa’s. He let me finish the fight and even sat through the credits with me.
I miss him dearly and this finale is a found reminder of him.
So calming and relaxing. Thank you for your amazing work, Emu!
