Thanks a lot for this great demo. By the way, how did you distinguish the difference between the solid composition of the malignant nodule at 10:35 and a Halo sign?
I’ve had two ultrasounds. 1st said it was spongiform predominantly solid solitary nodule with foci calcification and peripheral vascularity measuring 2.6 x 3.5 x 3 cm, so fast track to hospital for suspected cancer. 2nd radiographer seemed blasé and arrogant and said defo benign and it’s a multinodular goiter. So now I’m confused as to how the findings can be so different and the 2nd one refuses to do a biopsy. So I feel I still have no peace of mind. Any thoughts?
Any of the ultraportable devices should work for this (butterfly, vave, clarius, etc). Obviously any of the cart based systems would work as well but are much more costly.
This is the clearest presentation I have ever seen.
No useless words

Do you recommend any portable ultrasound probe for office-based evaluation?
Any of the ultraportable devices should work for this (butterfly, vave, clarius, etc). Obviously any of the cart based systems would work as well but are much more costly.

Do multiple (3) nodules suggest anything?
It may. It needs to be examined by an ENT specialist to see the characteristics of the nodules and be followed.
