It has been out in Canada! But it was a really long time ago. Probably 20 years at least. It used to be my dads absolute favourite pizza and it was the only pizza chain pizza he’d order on our family pizza nights lol

Dude The Big New Yorker is legendary. Came out when I was in highschool 20 years ago in Ontario. At the time it was by far the best pizza I’d ever had. Looks a bit different now tho with the thicker crust. Either way I’m ordering that shit asap!

You are my go to when trying to decide if something is worth it. In Canada we don't get a lot of the US stuff so I always try to have something new when it comes out. Skeptical at these expensive $20 fast food pep pizzas but everytime I watch your reviews I end up buying it. Thanks for continuing to make the content that you do

80s/90s meant going to thr resto sit down. Also had many bday parties at the lunch buffet that was fng awesom. Now it is just a take out fast food place. Havent had in 12 years cause last time i got delivery and was complete shyte. But wanna try again problem is none near me and i live next to a dominos, so always have great 50% and carryout deals. Pizza hut seems expensive compared based on ther online menu. .

that pizza looked over baked! please do an extreme zoom in for the crust cross section. i need to see the crumb on it. it's all about the crumb for baked goods :)
The big New Yorker was in the USA last year and it was actually pretty good. Where I live it was $13.99. I would say it’s a good pie and has a bit more pizazz than dominos for sure.

You’re right I’m from Ottawa too and it’s really tough to find a good authentic NY style thin crust pie. But this looks fucking delicious!!! I remember going to the Hut on Merivale when they had the buffet and sold really cool Space Jam basketballs and I got the New Yorker with my dad all the time. SO pumped it’s back!!
I also haven't had one of their pizzas for years, as their sauce is the worst of all the mainline pizza places that I visit, also they are really CHEAP on their toppings, usually! On a different note I have been buying basic frozen pepperoni pizzas that I now put a wee drizzle of generic honey on the pizza, what a 'difference' that makes, I saw this on some video on You Tube...good stuff IMO!

I just tried it and it wasn't very good. I really liked the Pizza Hut New Yorker 20+ years ago, but this one was just a very mediocre pie. I do like the cuppy pepperoni though.
You lucked out there with the sauce. They tend to put very little at locations in Ontario causing it to be very dry and I request extra sauce to make it palatable.

Not sure where the hell you are in Ontario but I’m from Ottawa and I always get a ton of sauce on all my pizzas from the Hut. Never had an issue.
