Ahh, it feels so good to be back friends!! I have been hard at work on another extreme room makeover video. Today, we're making over my living room and the transformation is EXTREME!! I thrifted, got items from Facebook marketplace, and DIYd pieces to make this as budget and renter friendly as possible. The result (if I don't say so myself) are amazing and I'm so excited to take you along the journey of making over this room! Enjoy!!

you neeeeed to switch the direction of your blade on your jigsaw!!! you should always be cutting away from yourself, never pulling/ cutting towards you. I would also recommend getting clamps because using your body as a way to hold something down is also very dangerous. please please please!!
i love how the living room turned out! the montage of you putting it all together so everything also don't stack your records on top of each other bc it can cause them to warp!

I love it. Its like 70' s pop art. I like how your not afraid to mix different shapes, colors, textures patterns, and objects. I think its the true way to express who you are. I don't stick to just one theme either. I decorate based off what i like and nothing else

You are right...the lighting is everything! The room looks so cozy, especially when you have the "warm" lighting on. And I love how you made a foyer behind your couch just by good furniture placement. Absolutely a wonderful job!

If I can give you a suggestion, don’t store your vinyl horizontally and with something on top! They will warp and be ruined forever. You need to keep them vertical and away from any heat source. x

You did very well. As a minimalist i would become crazy if i had to live there but only from the far it looks very nice and cozy.

Wow! It all compliments each other, it is well done. You did a spectacular job and should be proud of yourself. It all balances and looks like magazine cover.
Here’s a tip sis… your jigsaw blade can be inserted both ways. Reverse your blade so you are pushing instead of pulling. This will help your cuts be more precise. You have more control pushing the jigsaw than pulling.
If you decide to leave the curtain support that way, you could replace the yarn with fishing line and hang a plant from the hook

I have been pinning 60s/70s mod home decor & furniture for MONTHS!!! I slowly add to the collection for complete transformation but DAMN is it hard and expensive at times! I thrift and antique avidly, and damn I wish I could find some of the shapes you did! I find them in pottery a lot which is awesome, I’ve definitely created a little collection of that. But I’m a true DIY-er and flip literally everything, just gotta learn how to with bigger furniture pieces so maybe I can make exactly what I want like you did with your entertainment center! I love everything so much, you killed it & matched my vibe. I feel like we would definitely be friends lmao. Amazing job girl!!! ❤️❤️

I've never seen anyone use a jigsaw backwards before. Is that always how you do it. Do you know the cutting part of the blade faces forward and you push the saw forward?

I’m a little bit confused about why you are moving your saw backwards! Is the blade installed backwards? Be careful - Looks a bit dangerous. I love my cricut maker 3 as well! Room turned out cute and I enjoyed the thrifting!

personally I was wondering about that giant wine rack with a ton of what I assume are bottles of wine and all the other bottles on the shelves in that separate shelving unit LOL, I mean geeze, come on, no one else noticed that and wants to know about it? that's a lot of wine! also, nice job on all your DIYs I love them all! I really love your bearded dragon the most though! Oh yeah I almost forgot, I agree with you: one can never have enough lighting! having a variety of lighting options really is awesome! the room looks fabulous well done!
