bro all these theme songs SLAPS. The writers knew what they were doing
it's the same people who wrote the music for Frozen 1 and 2
@@abigaildoll3214 Frozen one had some good songs but frozen 2 was something else
@@abigaildoll3214 and wrote the song Remember Me from Coco
@@abigaildoll3214 Sounds like they're on vocals here too.
The lyrics actually foreshadow the show. In the 80s version they say that they're making it up as they go along, like how Wanda is creating her own reality
same for the 90's one it sounds like it's foreshadowing
There’s a lot of these throughout the show. Actually.
tell me, what does "wan-davision, wan-wandavision" trying to foreshadow?
/s
What I find telling is that our final intro from Wanda, is just about Wanda herself, with Vision only appearing at the very end
By this point Wanda is emotionally collapsing and Vision has stopped voluntarily engaging with the sitcom reality at all (like when he catches himself in an interview segment and leaves). The kids aren't helping hold back the depression anymore and Vision is trying to free the people of Westview; the coping mechanism is failing.
In the 2000s opening, there is a picture that says "I KNOW WHAT U ARE DOING WANDA"
I love the detail that Agnes is credited for the first time in the one sitcom themed episode in which she barely appears in.
But also in that theme song, Pietro (who isn't credited) is with the family outside, while Agnes isn't. I think I that's the show writers hinting that Agatha is behind everything Pietro is doing. She effectively "is" Pietro.
@@jettqk1He IS credited...
The 80's theme song gets me EVERY time. I can't get enough.
SO good

@@JxstK3nn3dy 2:49 here's the timestamp for the 80's into.
Absolutely. I'm nostalgic for a show that doesn't exist.
I kinda hate it. But in a good way. Like, it feels so accurately saccharine
70s version theme lives rent free in my head
I know what you mean!
2:49 The 80’s one always makes me sad and happy at the same time. The whole intro shows you how happy Wanda looks and is. It even shows you what she truly wanted in her life, that’s what makes me happy. But what makes me sad is that in the end she got none of it and lost it all, and never got a chance to try 😔
The "Created by Wanda Maximoff" part really seals the 00's one. What a great detail.
".....and I killed Sparky too!" I absolutely DIED the first scene I saw that scene......HILARIOUS!!!!

There’s more of the WandaVision Grief-a-thon coming up next, so make like a leftover alien pod caul and stick around, won’t you?
I love how the composers use the four notes (heard in the first iteration of the word "WandaVision" in the 50s parody, and the first notes of the 60s parody) as a motif until it gets completely transformed into the "Agatha All Along" melody.
This whole thing is so brilliant, especially in terms of how they combined the dissimilar theme songs of "Bewitched" and "I Dream of Jeannie" for the 60s version, and then "The Munsters" and "The Addams Family" for "Agatha All Along."
0:00 E1 : 50s-60s - I Love Lucy/The Dick Van Dyke Show
0:54 E2 : Late 60s - Bewitched/I Dream of Jeannie
1:45 E3 : 70s - The Brady Bunch/All in the Family
2:49 E5 : 80s-90s - Family Ties/Growing Pains

5:37 E7 (It Was Agatha All Along) : 60s - The Munsters/The Addams Family
E5 is also Full House, especially with the running in the park and the picnic
Thanks!
@@jettqk1which is all sort of apropos given who starred in Full House...
E3's song sounds more Partridge Family to me.
I loved happy endings
The 60s one is so catchy!
The 60's one gives me so much joy
Sometimes it’s sad to know that all of this stuff is just an illusion of happiness
If there's ever a story about an older Harley Quinn, I want the Agatha actress to play her.
Katherine Hanh is a genius, she'd make an awesome HQ
Lady Gaga is playing that role
This show was incredible!!! The attention to detail with this intros impresses me every time, and each watch, I seem to gain a new interpretation of a lyric, relating it back to the plot.
Also, the 2010s one just reminds me of The Office and I love it! The similarities continue throughout the episode, since everyone is talking to the camera.
4:42 terrified but also he’s called The Vision here instead of just Vision like he’s really not real or something. It’s odd.
In Marvel comics the character is properly called The Vision.
Lots of definite articles in Marvel Comics - The Vision, The Juggernaut, Ronin The Accuser, The Magus etc.
My dumb ass thought they were saying long division in the second intro... XD
The 60's and the Agatha one are my favorite
The Agatha one was in the style of “The Munsters,” a show from the ‘60s.
Idk why but for some reason this theme songs make me feel way too comfortable ☺️
4:21 LITERALLY THE BEST ONE, THE BEATS THE VOCALS, EVERYTHING IS JUST ON THE POINT AND SO ENERGETIC
Nobody is taking about this enough. If you pause at the 5:24 mark, it states “I know what u are doing Wanda.”
I didn't notice that! Good spot.
agatha must have slipped that one in 😂
She’d essentially taken over the show by that point so it makes sense
Or it could be her own guilt manifesting itself. At this point in the show nothing else is a secret
how does this not have more views/likes, i really thought you were famous when i clicked on this video
FRR
Because it's not their content?
True literally fr
I love this so much! The creators went above and beyond with making the costumes and storylines feel it was from the eras it was mimicking!
I love the modern family/Happy Endings cross with the intro
baby vision is the funniest and most cursed image I've ever seen
if Geraldine stayed a character, I just KNOW that the later decades wouldve SLAPPED
Probably for the best that Geraldine didn’t stick around. I can totally see Agatha killing or getting rid of her so she wouldn’t have to worry about her stealing her spot as Wanda’s best friend supporting character
It’s been a good video all along.... and I liked it to. HahahAhaha
Did you kill sparky too?
80's just so memorable 🥺
Gives full house vibes
“And I killed sparky too” THIS IS AN AVENGERS LEVEL THREAT
I would sell my soul to be in the hex!!
Mephistopheles, she’s come to bargain!
So you’d want to be constantly tortured? You might want to get some therapy
@@RounderyathecruelBecause living in the 21th century isn't torture ?😂
Why dose All-New Halloween Spooktaculer remind me of Malcom in the Middle
Because that was the point.
These Show is BRILLIANT!!! I Love all of These Theme Songs and
I LOVE THIS SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
Why Vision hid his face when they saw the mail man in the beginning?
Because he didn't look like a human at the moment
He was trying to conceal his identity that he’s actually an android because they wanted to settle in at Westview and live as normal residents, and if people knew Vision was a sentient machine and Wanda had supernatural powers it’d raise suspicion
Agatha has the best Witch cackle I ever heard
She nails it! I’m excited for her own show. I just hope she stays a villain and not one of those “she’s good, she was forced to be evil” just let my favorite villain stay a villain please 😭
I might be overthinking things but episode 6 theme kind of sounds like the twins begging to keep their perfect life going
Feels more like Agatha seeing how far she can push Wanda if you ask me
the themes are so well made based off the decades the show was in
My favorite is the episode 3 theme song.
The 4 note leitmotif kinda reminds me of the 4 notes of The Jetsons theme song.
The Simpsons theme uses a tritone as well.
The 80's song hits especially hard on a rewatch once you know why Wanda created this reality
God the 80s one is so good and sounds so nostalgic
0:26 Already foreshadowing something is a tad off.
pretty sure that wanda name tag sticker is a reference to clive bixby
I like how the lyrics match up with each EP.
I want to cosplay 50s and 80s wanda
Why don't you try cosplaying as a normal human being instead of an ace pan wiccan weirdo whose waaay to invested in where people put their genitals?
I would do anything to watch wandavision for the first time again it literally changed my life
I would have loved if every season of this series was from a different age instead of only one season I would honestly love to see Wanda and Vision life as a real sitcom
For real the first 2 episodes were my favorite I would totally just watch a black and white wandavision sitcom.
I mean then they’d be in the hex for like actual months, maybe years, by that point they would’ve just nuked westview or brought in the avengers or something
@@LaptapGamerit was confirmed at one point that there were multiple episodes in at least the first two decades as we see Monica as Geraldine hanging out in the background of an unseen 50’s episode. My guess is Wanda did do multiple in the 50’s and 60’s but SWORD’s constant meddling and Mr Hart’s meltdown made her start changing the show over and over in a bid to try and secure a reality where she’s left alone and can be happy
@@mrcritical6751 still the citizens would’ve been trapped in westveiw for wayyy to long for serious action to not have occurred. Plus Agatha was inside the hex and was never going to let it go longer than she needed it to gain proper info (about a week)
@@LaptapGamer true, but time also moved differently in there. A whole season of 50’s episodes could have occurred in like half a day, time was essentially running on how long the runtime of an episode was
I still think Disney took a huge risk with this show and it worked out.
True, I think some of the actors even confessed that no one (besides Kevin since it was his idea) really believed in the show.
Thank you Kristen- Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez!
I’m still a little disappointed that they did the 80’s transition directly to the early 00’s (Malcolm in the Middle) and then Modern Family. I loved the show immensely, but a lot of projects seem to forget the 90’s existed and how special that time was.
The ‘90s were an awful decade. The writers did right in skipping over it!
@@jayrogers8255 Is that when your wife left or something?
@@1SpicyMeataball no, it started out with my dad dying when I was 11. Then came Clinton & high school in the same year. The ‘80s were a lot better!
Malcolm In The Middle is still pretty ‘90s in style, plus it aired in ‘00 and my personal belief is that ‘90s culture didn’t really end until 9/11/01. Plus, the commercial for that episode was 100% a ‘90s commercial…
The producers said they had to cheat a bit with this one - most sitcoms in the 90s were about adults, or workplaces (think Frasier, Friends, Will & Grace etc) and there weren’t as many “family sitcoms”, so the episode is a mixture of the late 1990s/early 2000s to riff off shows like Malcolm in the Middle.

5:10-5:37 Wandavision ep 7(00s intro)
5:38-6:35 Wandavision ep 7(Agatha All Along)
Baby Vision is literally uncanny
I KNOW WHAT U ARE DOING WANDA
The best MCU tv show
I still hate agatha for killing sparky
My favorites have to be episode 2 (the animated intro) and episode 6 (the halloween one)
even without knowing the 90s 00s where easy to recognize 90s because of the radical attitude & 00s because of the humor
50-70s is integrated in my head
50s theme song is SEVERELY underrated
Thank you for this 👏👏👏✨
Certified bops
What shows are all the theme songs refrenced to?
I don't know about the others but the theme song at 5:11 is a reference to the office.
The 80s theme song seems to be inspired by both Family Ties and Growing Pains. The 90s theme song seems to be inspired by iCarly and Malcolm In The Middle .
5:11 is visually a reference to Happy Endings as well as Modern Family at the end (with the theme being The Office like the other person said).
70s is Partridge Family and Love American Style
The honeymooners, bewitched, the partidage family, full house, and Malcom in the middle I think
I don’t think you can get worse than this shit, how did we go from endgame to this💀💀

0:19 The For Sale sign has a 732 area code but 732 wasn't implemented in New Jersey until 1997

@@scornfvl 201, but honestly area codes weren't usually written at that time as you wouldn't need one to call a local number. Most people at the time wouldn't even have a dial yet - they'd ask the operator to make the call.
