Limitless creativity, musicality, & technicality. Absolutely my favorite Cadenza.
I love how elegantly he references different parts of the 1st movement, and how he includes the orchestra's melodies as well. Also THOSE HARMONICS! Absolutely stunning. And his intonation and sound are just as incredible. Amazing job!!!👍👍👍👍👍
Unlike the other cadenzas for Paganini's 1st violin concerto, which are just excuses to show how good the player is, Augustin's Cadenza has a sense of musicality and at the same time, gives the feeling of Paganini's virtuosity. Bravo!
Well said! Also, I kindah like the trashy braggadocio of Paganini’s cadenzas too because of their HONEST, UNAPOLOGETIC AND BLATANT virtuosic self-gratification.
Where have you ever heard paganinis cadenza? Paganini never wrote them down as far as I know. There are 2 cadenzas typical for the first concerto: the Wilhelmi one and the Sauret one
@@Iaido_Testsflesch and Kreisler wrote cadenzas as well
Exactly. We all know our performers are virtuosos. One doesn't need to prove that every time. We are there to enjoy the music. We are there for what they have to GIVE us, not SHOW us.
I wish the cadenza was longer
Not only this cadenza, but this entire performance with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will become a "classic performance" of this Paganini Concerto.
Those harmonics are from a different world. I'm speechless
1:28 the sweetest moment. Makes me smile every time ❣️
So pure and fresh. Classic and no extraneous noise or movement. Augustin
Is spectacular.
High praise, coming from another very gifted professional violinist.
It fits in so well you would never know otherwise and perfectly executed.
Festival of cadenzas 🎻!
Festival of musicality ❤️
Grazie, Augustin 🙏
Bravissimo! bravissimo! bravissimo!!!💥💥💥💥💥💥💥🌞🌈🌈🌈🌈🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌹🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
i literally love this man omgggg he’s a genius and a legend
Oh my GOSH THOSE HARMONIC PASSAGES????? Augustin, you are truly the gods fiddler of our time...
Speechless
Madness, just madness. Chapeau.
The sound of his wonderful performance is gold
My favorite of Augustin's cadenzas! 💚
Непревзойденно!!! 👏👏👏
i loved it, it seams you like to put some parts of the orchestral tutti in your cadenzas and I think this is very creative and unique on your part, also having taken a more musical path in the cadenza of this concerto as opposed to sauret's cadenza was a genius idea
Hadelich’s playing leaves me inspired. No words for this masterful performance.
Augustin is inhumanely amazing👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Excellent as usual, maestro! Your bow control is absolute. I still can't quite wrap my head around the double-stop harmonics.
perfect...
BREATHTAKING!
Beautiful!
Ti voglio bene Augustin
This is fantastic! I just watched the video of the entire captivating performance yesterday so to hear this again is such a treat.
So good
o melhor violinista!!!
Sem sombras de duvidas meu irmão.
A musicalidade é incrivel.
Um Gênio.
Grazie, Augustin !
I've been to his concert (Szymanowski concerto), and what stunned me, he didn't check a single note before playing - and of course ideally in tune all the piece !!!
Brilliant!!!
Wow !!!
Thanks for your wonderful playing.
This has such a great balance between musicality and virtuosity! Sauret's cadenza is a bit all over the place in my humble opinion...
that was crazy good
Truly fascinating, like shadows of each musical idea of the whole concerto, almost like what emerges from activating your diffusional state of mind like the things you hear in your inner ear while showering
Achieving this melodical structure and "umstructure" is what art really is, well done!
Lovely 🤩
The lady behind him has the most dead stare and doesn't move while the guy to the right looks like he's rolling his eyes every 10 seconds
1:00 lmao the guy in the background's eyes re like ➡⬅➡
Great!!!
Я безумно рада что этот талантливый музыкант приезжает в Армению и мы сможем наслаждаться его игрой👍👍👍
Wunderschön😍💚
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have a question: is this cadenza available for public playing? Im currently playing Paganini's concerto and the thing I love about this cadenza is its musicality and some excerpts from other Cappriccios, truly a masterpiece I must say.
Augustin posts his cadenzas on his website: augustinhadelich.com
Is the full performance anywhere?? Its amazing!!
Yes on UA-cam
not crazy about his cadenza generally, but i like the broken sixths part at 2:21. really cool. if i was writing my own, i'd probably incorporate that part. or maybe merge it into the Sauret somewhere.
dear Augustin, is something ausgezrichnet!
the artificial harmonics part is insane 😱
❤❤❤❤😂
2:51 cheeky pizz
0:18
Це щось дуже красиве , мабуть музика не Паганіні.😂😅
😂dear great violinist :
that seem most Paganini and
A.Hadelich.
Next can be best if you hear
Paganini Souret Ricci.
just number of notes and tecnich , please ...😅❤
Wow!
