@@DukesofoffroadHazzard My very first trip to Glamis was 1981 and Olds was the hill to try conquer. Everyone and I mean everyone was on a Trike, 185s or Tri Z stretched running RD engines was the deal. Quads wouldn't come out for another year and long travel sand cars wouldn't be a thing for another 10-15 years. It's crazy how the offroad world has changed. The problem with that is in some cases you have people that are driving beyond their abilities or just flat out not paying attention as your vid clearly shows. We sometimes wind up on our tops it happens but we all need to be reminded to be careful! It's cool to see that some like yourself have not lost the dunners code! Always eager to help when someone is in need of it. Keep up the cool vids and dune safe man!
@@funfreq9282dang 1981, I was born in 82’ and first Glamis trip was 92…so I can kinda relate on seeing Glamis changing for sure! Not many big buggies compared to the UTVs today and that’s definitely a bummer! I can understand it though for how expensive they are not only to buy but maintain and repair to…that’s a rich man’s deal now and 90% of blue collar broke bastards like my self scrounging every cent to make a desert trip happen! Funny stories how I make some extra $$$ to make these trips happen! I literally haul folks trash to the dump using my flatbed trailer and can bang out about $2500 bucks doing it a couple days a week 🤣 it’s wild but make it happen 💪
I love how high of a rooster tail hellforce throws when he is on it that’s great. Imagine if it had bigger tires thing would just be a wheelie machine then.

It sucks that a lot of people think the first thing to do is roll the UTV over without checking on the occupants first. Glad you were there so they didn't roll the UTV on the guy trying to get out.

Another great video. I'm glad you're showing how dangerous this place can be so that newbies don't go out there and get hurt because they don't know what they're doing. One thing i noticed, thank God all were good to go, if you're going to put a helmet on; STRAP IT UP! Ain't no good when it flies off and rolls down the hill! I love the sea of blinky lights! My favorite thing to see!
Mike man both helmets came off mid roll!!! The one kid had his strapped on and had abrasion marks on his neck/chin from it ripping off! He tumbled violently 15-18x and I saw it all go down! The other gentleman I can’t say whether or not it was strapped! But yeah it’s no joke the dunes! Head on a swivel and don’t consume alcoholic beverages if driving!

People parking up top has always bothered me because you don’t know what way it’s going to pull going up. I seen some one get landed on in pismo beach and it was bad.

I'd love to get all the way over to Glamis for a trip. But im pretty sure my first time popping the Glamis cherry wouldn't be at Camp RZR. Just too much going on there. Think id rather stick to the mild side first before heading out to that party.

Oh man, it would be a TRIP for me to get there. Im literally from across the country and in Canada lol. It would probably be better for me to ship my X3 all the way out there and fly than do the 51 hour drive google maps says i'd need to do haha. But if i ever make it there, i'll fire off a message! Hi Mr.Jim…Day 4 will be my last video as Sunday was day 5 and I spent most the day loading my trailer, cleaning camp, loading my truck of all my tools and equipment I brought! Mostly just a work day and it was extremely windy 🌬️ that Sunday to! I’ve been on duty here at the fire station for 6-8 days now and have been crazy busy! I’m in the middle of editing my last video for Glamis and should be out soon! Also the CFMOTO made it back to camp under its own power! Maybe you saw in SXSBLOG video the frames shock mounts broke causing the rear of the car to sag to much! You should definitely check out some other Offroad videos I have done on my channel! Next week I’ll do a video of Superstition Mountains!

Glamis sure has changed in the last 30 years, a lot more turtles than there used to be. Also the hills don't seem as steep as they used to.
