Michael J Spread Eagle fucking rocks. Shotgun Messiah. McQueen Street. Loudness. Just to name a few. There were so many outstanding bands that either never made it, never made it mainstream because there were so many bands out there already, or just plain came out at the wrong time. I remember going to record stores and just buying CDs of little known bands. Rarely was I disappointed.
Warrior Soul was so ahead of its time and this is one of my favorite songs by them. If they had arrived on the scene about two years later than when they did they would have been what Nirvana became. Their first three albums are incredible and the music (and especially the lyrics) are more relevant today than back then!
I remember as a teenager, seeing this video debut on Headbangers Ball one Saturday night back then, and I immediately had to have the CD. They are so awesome.
Can I get a HELL YEAH from anyone still loving and listening to Warrior Soul in 2019!?! Kory Clarke is one of the greatest to ever bless the music scene! Raw, real, and in your face Rock n Fuckn Roll!!
Could there be a band more lost in the "Grudge" era than Warrior Soul who were actually NOT from Seattle? I love 'em. This should have been the anthem of the early 90's. (Fuk in helllll, the band should have been the voice of that era,!) So underrated . Did Not come to Australia often enough.
One of the most underrated bands ever!!!! Such a shame!! Iknow people below already said this, but I was going to say it before I ever saw their comments, so I'm saying it again!!! We all know it's true - and sad!
Bradley Sweeney I agree 100% I'm 40 jamming with dudes in late 20s and I'm always pushing these guys to them , the days when an entire album was jam worthy , and under ground were music belongs , in touched by idiots and def ears !!🤘
@@rockdog2843 lol I used to share this account with my husband. He commented on lots of stuff. I can't stand listening to them now cause it just reminds me of bad times with a psycho. 😎
I know what u mean.Im the same way about some bands like 3 doors down.Good band but bad memories.I was the phyco.I used to drink.I have over 5 years sober now.I had the Jeckyl and Hyde thing with whiskey.@@veronicacampbell2077
Kory is a awesome song writer with the human spirit tearing through human consciousness awaking the the 3 rd eye to cataclysmic explosions of love into the visions of the people who care!!
Hey man, love the early stuff. My bros and I moved up to a suburb.of the Twin Cities in the early 90's and formed a band which did not amounted to anything but was fun. My brother introduced me to the music of Warrior soul. Yeah I noticed an anti Trump song somewhere in their list later on....I feel when an artist attacks an individual instead of a movement.....he is basing his relevancy on that person.
The brain-dead puppet activists, happy, hopeful slaves of conventional society have created this ghastly reality. They always fall for the ruse of the plutocrats.
This singer put his heart and soul into this song. This song is straight-forward while delivering a well executed affect. It digs deep down inside to give us an experience that will not be forgotten. Good band. Love the way they deliver their music! What a punch!!!
As much as I still love grunge and the shift in rock of the early 90's, I HATE that this band got overlooked. I will ALWAYS love this freakin song! They Rocked!
Saw these live in Bradford back in the day and remember Kory Clark kicking my mate up the arse off the stage when it was invaded! absolute class memory lol
Had the pleasure of seeing Warrior Soul play at the Limelight in NYC several times. Their sound and Corys voice were as sonic and brash as they sound in this vid. Extremely underrated but always filled a venue. Damn i miss Sunday night metal at the Rock n Roll church...
great band and great people- really down to earth- met them when they toured first lp - tho big paul had departed by then but it was the killing joke connection that made me seek the band out and i showed at their first toronto show and kory totally looked after me -
Wow. This sounds like this song was written this year. Definitely has stood the test of time. Much love to Warrior Soul for this great cut!!
Their writing in general is intelligent.
Spot on. It'd be wild to hear this at an RNC or DNC.
THIS song is so much more relevant today then it ever was.....
I had all of their albums when their music came out. And I was a goth. Loved their sound and still do.
...and will be
the most underrated band ever
Close to it. Spread Eagle / Ray West fit that mold as well.
Michael J Don't forget Love/Hate

Michael J Nice ! Thanks Michael !
This is a glimpse of the 90s that could have been. Instead we got Turdvana and Pearl Jism.
So ahead of their time.
Warrior Soul is an underrated band, very good lyrics, great frontman, First 3 albums are classic. Good to see a lot of people love their music.
One of the most aggressive hard rock songs ever!!!!!!!
its a real shame that Warrior Soul got lost in the shuffle, they were one of the greatest bands of the 90's
i will never understand how this band wasn't huge. Great albums and incredible live
Read the lyrics, understand the message, no stardom for critical voices.
They Convey TRUTH and Freedom !
Grunge killed Warrior Soul, Saigon Kick, T Ride etc. These were hair metal that was growing up. Its a shame as it was getting better.
Because it's not about "the usual topic."
I remember back in the 90s fell in love with warrior soul and still a big fan in 2023! Corey Klark your lyrics and music means so much. Thank you.🙏❤️
2020 and I'm STILL jealous of Kory's hair.
2020 and this is still one of my all-time favorite songs.
2020
Dude, still real in 2022! Love ..
Truly an underrated band from the early 90s. Three solid back-to-back albums.
the best hair in metal
not a hair band
@@michaeltabor9664 that's not what he said..
Check Immolation singer.
THIS is the GREATEST & MOST IMPORTANT band of the 1990"s !
This song was my anthem for a while back in the day. The whole album is great. Thanks for the music, guys.

booeyc what's nirvana
Definitely truth poetry for the world of today’s corporate take over and take down of everything.

Screaming Jets were also buried by grunge. Mantissa.... And a few newer (for that time) US acts as well.
MTV HEADBANGERS' BALL '92. \m/
Seen them in Ct. back in 2013...thanks to Randy for this....😉
One of the most underrated bands ever!!!! Such a shame!! Iknow people below already said this, but I was going to say it before I ever saw their comments, so I'm saying it again!!! We all know it's true - and sad!
Criminally underrated Criminally
Most underrated band ever. They friggin RULE!! First time i heard them i was amazed and i still am.
Bradley Sweeney I agree 100% I'm 40 jamming with dudes in late 20s and I'm always pushing these guys to them , the days when an entire album was jam worthy , and under ground were music belongs , in touched by idiots and def ears !!🤘

Rip Mark and Pete.
One of my favorite albums of all time....and I listen to stuff from the 70's up to Cannibal Corpse.
These lyrics ring true to this day, exactly what’s happening now. Very underrated great band, way ahead of their time
Fucking awesome!!!!!
Punk, grunge metal Zeppelin influenced. Love them. Cory has/had an incredible voice, great rhythm section and good riff rock.
Gotta be the most badd ass song I have ever heard - Good Lord!!!!!!
You ought to hear "Charlie's Out of Prison," "Tripping on Ecstasy," + "Blown Away,"
in fact, the entire "Last Decade Dead Century" album (1989). :>)
Nick Heath WHAT 89? Where can I get a copy of a 89 copy is it any different with the 90 copy
I Apologize: LDDC was released by Geffen in 1990.
Sorry for the HeArt Attack! ;>)
The music speaks for itself. Warrior Soul is incredible. To everyone who loves warrior soul speak out. Spread it through out the world.
I don't take lip , I bow to no one don't pledge allegiance to flags I burn em. I met Kory in Camden once. He was such a nice guy.
I've met him three times over a period of 26 years. He's been less and less coherent each time but still lovely!
Kory is a awesome song writer with the human spirit tearing through human consciousness awaking the the 3 rd eye to cataclysmic explosions of love into the visions of the people who care!!
william laughy Exactly!!
Well said
One of best Bands ever! Warrior Soul will rule forever
Kory Rocks! Kory is a phenomenal drummer too if any of you cats didn't know that little tidbit.
Just going through some oldies... STILL GREAT!
Warrior Soul to me was both a heavy metal band and a grunge band. It's a pity it never received more commercial success.
A hard metal song, I love it. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Warrior Soul's message is timeless.
Warrior Soul's earlier stuff will always be on my playlist 🤘 even though they may be leftards

Maybe you’re a leftard yourself. Come out of the closet and embrace it.
Fantastic song, Underrated band 🤟
Great riff, great vocal, great song, great album, great band. Sold a few records, then moved aside for the likes of 'Lil' whoever. Shocking.
A timelessly great band.
An absolutely brilliant band ...one of a kind. Kory was and still is an amazing front man . They're still going and producing incredible albums
The equalizer for grunge metal during that era👍🤩
Story of humanity
Right sad prediction
The brain-dead puppet activists, happy, hopeful slaves of conventional society have created this ghastly reality. They always fall for the ruse of the plutocrats.

First saw them when they opened for Queensryche on the Empire Tour. then saw them at a small club in Chicago. Great band.
Was actually just listening to Rage for Order before this... I purposely came to this, trying to reconcile my vastly different tastes.
As much as I still love grunge and the shift in rock of the early 90's, I HATE that this band got overlooked. I will ALWAYS love this freakin song! They Rocked!

NYC's answer to Jane's Addiction early on, later turning more straight ahead punk rage. Those first 3 albums are always in rotation...
