- How to make a flower paste watering can cake topper.
In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how to make a watering can cake topper. I use Renshaws modelling and flower paste to make this watering can model. You could also use flower paste, gum paste or fondant. If you do not want your watering can sculpture to be edible you could also use polymer clay or fimo.

just adorable! I am going to try one of these to go on a gardening cake.. use copper lustre dust on it. Oh, i love it when you have the sunlight coming onto the table. Shows the product in natural light too!

Thank you for the tutorials which are very useful. The only comment I would have, is that it would be useful if you could give an approximate size when breaking off pieces of sugarpaste for modelling, e.g. Size of a squash ball, etc

Can this method be applied when making a watering can say 3x the size?
redprincess36 Thanks for watching. It should still work fine, as long as you are using something like modelling paste or gum paste and not fondant as it might not hold strong with normal fondant.
