The biggest issue was the loss of Garret Dellinger. He went out in the 1st half of that game and was replaced with a Fr. Nussmeier has been eat up by pressure up the middle every since. It has completely taken away any and all comfort that he had in the pocket.

And the crazy part is Matt has broken it down across every season of lsu football on average we have never been a team that is a consistent undefeated or 1 loss team never it happens every 5-6 seasons we boom we get to the top or near it but over all all we are always good not great and our fans can not accept that they just can’t grasp it. But the thing is they also have such short memories it’s insane they forget what it was like under coach O it was awful ! Outside of 2019 awful Kelly build it back quick year one right now we just don’t have an elite team facts and it takes elite to be elite. Any player with eligibility needs to return including Will Campbell. He has played himself from a top 5 pick to day 2. Emory Jones day 3. There is definitely a disconnect between coaching staff and players. I’m seriously worried about our recruiting class.
The meddling you mention with double voices in the QB’s and receivers’ ears happened constantly at ND. He won’t take over play calling completely but he meddles and confuses. That led to plays getting in late, hurried plays, time outs wasted and players frustrated

I’ve been saying it time and time again. We are developing a CULTURE issue and it starts with the coaches. Yes nobody was expecting us to be contenders this year. It’s not the losing that hurts it’s how we lose. Mistakes, effort, penalties, playing out of position, and it just seems as if the coaches have lost the locker room. People were fine with Ed O being 9-3 consistently because those teams played till the clock hit all zeros. If they lost a game it was always because they were outcoached and out schemed. And the main thing was we had no passing game. Now I look at this team and see nobody who wants to step up nobody who wants to be THE GUY and as diehard LSU fan who grew up in the tre white morris clayborne Devin white pat queen and those guys era it just hurts my soul to see this team so passionless for the game. idk what BK needs to do to light a fire under these guys but if he can’t do it he’s gotta go.
Starts with the most important player and that's the QB Nuss hasn't looked good he's been a turnover machine 4 Total Passing TDs in the 3 losses and 5 Total INTs and a fumble in the Florida game. He over threw Hilton twice where he torched the corner and it would have been a TD also in the Florida game and as much as i want to blame the Oline for the bunch of sacks, if you go back and watch some of them he's stepping into the sacks when he has a pocket built for him, 2 of them i saw he stepped up like he was gonna run but we all know he's not a runner so he just stepped right into a sack. At least if Underwood stays committed he's probably gonna start as a Freshman. I can't blame the defense this game when they got stops and then the Offense did nothing but put them in bad spots.

It has to be the receivers fault. It can’t be Nuss’ fault because a great qb makes everyone around him better. That’s why the offense has so much positive energy and they can’t stay out of the end zone.

Nuss isn’t a turnover machine, what are you talking about? He’s a good qb and good qb’s don’t turn it over a lot, especially in big moments.

To be honest, I think the team has quit on the coaches. Maybe the shock of losing to A&M and getting blown out by Alabama has this effect.
