I don't think the coyotes want Boots as their new friend. They're going to be looking at Boots as their next menu item as someone else said in the comments. I saw a video of a cat defending itself in another video and the cat scared three coyotes away!!! 😋
Dogs don't generally like rats or mice, they are smart & know wild rodents from domesticated farm family animals... cats destroy those disease carrying pests & the dogs have probably seen it......They all play their part...
