In Part 6, ash-Shaykh Abū 'Iyād حفظه الله, in his talk entitled "In Defense of the Prophetic Methodology," expounds upon several points of manhaj that are relevant to our times. From that, he discusses the concepts of at-Tasfiyah and at-Tarbiyah in the Prophetic Sīrah, the perfection of the Islamic legislation, the appearance of deviation after the death of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, and the virtue of being guided to the Sunnah.
Likewise, he mentions that Allāh has placed scholars and people of knowledge in every era that guide the people to the Straight Path. From the signs of the people of the truth is that they love these scholars, learn from them, take from them, and accept their words, statements, and clarifications.
Also, deviation and innovation shall became so widespread and apparent that it will be difficult to see the truth, and the people upon the truth and Sunnah will be regarded as strange (as in our times). Thus, the scholars show hatred for the people of innovation, as well as clarify, expose, and refute their innovations to the people.
