The BoP doesn’t just consider straight line top speed, but every aspect incl. weight, cornering ability etc. etc. There are some brilliant minds here, who have developed the BoP; it’s not perfect, but it does its job well.
I love seeing how competitive the BMW is because it looks like a dad got lost and ended up on track with the family sedan 💀. But it is a cool aspect of GT racing, the diverse field.
@@fioralbannach6647 oh it's an incredible car and on the road comes off quite a bit differently. I just mean the perception of it when it's in a pack of Ferraris and McLarens. It just *looks* massive.
@@mcgoo721 facts don’t lie there, it does look a lot bigger than its rivals, very true. Especially its length, it’s around 5m, which is huge. Width is ok though; I think the Lamborghini is one of the widest cars in the field.

They were never planned to contest this race, their campaign was limited to Endurance Cup and the Brands Hatch and Misano Sprint rounds.
