    Who here would donate to a prize fund for the Mixed Doubles Creators Tournament Packy and Madison, The Kretzers, Tang and his girl, Nate and Elise (my pick to win), Sherman and Greene. Chris (or Ryan)and Lynda Barnes Oh, who else? Oh yeah! JR Raymond and Cory Schumaker.😂 Let's get this thing going, people. We all want to see it.

    Pack this is a great video! I like how you take a situation and make it positive. This is something I have been working on for a long time.

    One of my favorite rules: If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it. Much of the time when I'm tempted to
    switch balls, I'm usually better off to stay with one ball and try harder to throw better shots.

    • @arethereanyuniquehandles
      @arethereanyuniquehandles 3 місяці тому

      Yes, my thinking was (not "is" anymore) that you adjust you first, before trying to switch equipment. I know that nowadays there is much more switching equipment than adjusting you, and think that is as much due to the technology in the bowling ball now. That said, you really really need to know your equipment to make those ball changes.

      @@arethereanyuniquehandles I agree. It's tempting to those who get bowling balls for free to try out everything that comes along but for the rest of us, working on our shot
      and getting as much practice as we can will often provide better results. I do like to try a new ball every so often, though because a gem will come along from time to time
      that's really worthwhile for certain lane conditions. But for me this boils down to having 3 balls to use: 1) a plastic ball for 10-pins; 2) a moderately hooking ball for medium
      oil conditions; and 3) a harder hooking ball for heavy oil conditions. So far, so good.

    Looking forward to the recap of the Waxahachie tournament. I caught a few games of the qualifying and it looks like the lessons learned bore some fruit. Hope you enjoyed your stop over in our little town!
    Question, what is the protocol for approaching you (or other pros) at a PBA tournament? Before the block? After?

    The struggle is real. But what's tough about this sport is the same thing that I love about this sport... Those who play for fun see it as a game...

    It's crazy I did a similar thing at a tournament n missed the cut by 5 pins. I was in the top 5 n dropped out because I changed balls too early n lost my look. I spared great just couldn't strike.

    Dang at the end, with a touch of loft, that ball slammed those pins back. Is that an adjustment too?

    Ok Pac, I know you're buddy's with Brent and he just purchased Seneca and Derby. With my moving there sometime this summer from Phoenix, I need suggestions on what house out there caters the best for the PBA professional (PBA50)? The only house I know out there is Northrock. And, are scratch leagues not around there anymore? So, best customer-centric center,best competitive leagues? Just would like an insider suggestion for a new area for myself. Steve

    Big fan, 2 handed southpaw as well, snd i feel like u struggle with se things mentally somewhat as i do... If make a change whether ball or feet n eyes if i dont get the desired result in first few rolls(eyes n feet) or handful of rolls(ball)i am compelled to make another change.
    Where i really see the glaring similar struggle though, is I'll SAY that i learned a valuable lesson(s), then i go and repeat the same mistakes I supposedly had just learned my lesson on 🤬

    Just curious what all do you need to bowl a pba regional like with average and stuff like that

    • @stompingpeak2043
      @stompingpeak2043 3 місяці тому +2

      Pretty sure it's just average 200 for a year or 190 on sport(the numbers may be slightly off but close in both scenarios). Then just buy your pro or am card and register
